Third Person


  Min Chi walked along the silent corridor. Yawning, she lifted her head while rubbing her back with a tiring aura. She's the 3rd student to go to her class 'cause she doesn't want to be scolded again. She was about to lean and rest... Maybe sleep a little on her locker, but then she heard something which made her to look around. That's weird, I don't remember walking with someone. She thought as she just sighed and opened her locker.


  She isn't the type of girl who's scared of such scary things. "Kim Chiiiiiiiiiiiii..." A scary yet soft voice said from a distance. Min Chi turn around. Who's calling my name? She asked, but then, it hit her. No one in her school calls her by her nickname. Then she realized, Baekhyun's the only one who calls her that, in school. They promised each other when Baekhyun came to her house.


  Min Chi smiled and chuckled quietly, hoping Baekhyun didn't heard her. She rolled her eyes and turned her attention to her locker, again. "Byun, stop it." she said in a fits of laughter. In an instant, Baekhyun left his hiding place, pouting. "Darn it. I was determined to scare you." He said snapping his fingers and walking towards his best friend who's still laughing at him for being a 'scary' ghost.


Min Chi


  "Hey, Min Chi, Mrs. Lee asks us to tell you that your article will be passed next thursday" My fellow co-writers said to me as they hold their books and adjusted their glasses. Baekhyun was still beside me doing a little make over to my locker. He said my locker was close to a smokey mountain. I've never really think Baekhyun being a clean freak. He's so full of surprises.


  "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Have she decided about the article's topic?" I asked them which made Baekhyun interested. When the girls saw Baekhyun they waved at him and smiled which Baekhyun just half smiled and immediately turned to me. The two of them probably noticed Baekhyun's reaction so they hurriedly said, "She said, she picked Baekhyun as your topic. Bye, Baekhyun. Bye, Min Chi!" they said and ran to the girl's rest room.


  I turned to Baekhyun and saw him smiling lost in space. "Ya! Why'd you scared the two of them?" I asked him, pretending to be mad. He looked at me and grinned. "I'm your topic for your article. I'm your topic for your article." He repeatedly said as he closed his eyes and whispered something like "Hwaiting!" or "Yes! I'm gonna be famous."


  "YA!" I yelled at him and slapped his right shoulder which made him stop. "I'm older than you." He said and with an instant, he became all giddy again. I sighed. Why do I have to be surprise? I should really expect that he's my topic. Why? Well, let's say, he's so good at singing that he always win when there's a singing contest held in our school. Aishh, I should have known that all along! 


  At the corner of my eye, I saw some girls looking at me with jealousy and hatred written on their faces. I know I should send then a weird look (since I'm an expert on that kind of looks) that says "WHAT?!", but I was too weak to do that. I just pretended that I didn't saw them and turned to Baekhyun who was now, looking at the girls. Uh-oh, he must have noticed me looking at them. "Byun! Are you listening?" I asked him hoping he would look at me.


  But to no avail, he just sent them a glare. I know, to you, sending a glare to a person you hate is just common, but this glare, I swear if he'll send you a glare like this, it's like he's killing you inside. I held his elbow to stop him from all he's plans, that I'm sure he's planning to do right now. "Byun, let's just leave them." I said with a hint of seriousness in my tone.


  He rolled his eyes at them and look at me. "Let's go." He said. We walk along the hallway with total silence. "So, where do you want to meet? I'm free this Saturday." I said as I broke the silence between us. He turned his attention to me, "There's a coffee shop near my house. I'll pick you up since you don't know where that coffee shop is." He stated, smiling. He's teasing me and I know it.


  I glared at him. "You're just finding an excuse to pick me up." I teased him back and all he could do is stick his tongue out at me while I did the same. "Just give me the adress." I commanded him but he didn't do anything. "No. And I just said that because I don't want to go to that Milk Tea House ever again." He sated and I burst out laughing. Remembering his little incident at the Milk Tea House.


  "You have a point. And it's better to go to a coffee shop." I admitted smiling. He gave me a confused look, "It's more like 'safe' rather than 'better'. At least there, there's no crazy girl who keeps staring at me." He corrected me, patting my head. I laughed at again, this time, he joined me. "But really, though. I really love the smell of coffee rather than tea." I said as I thought of my coffee training when I was 13. 


  "They said coffee makes your life 3 times shorter." He said nonchalantly. I look at him with pure disbelief. How can he say that?! In front of a coffee lover? But why did he made me make a coffee for him when he was in my house? I thought as I look at him, confused.


  "How could you say that. Did you know that the person in front of you is immortal?" I asked him, teasingly which made him burst out laughing. I stood there with a poker face.  Is he insane or what? Wait, why am I asking myself that question? I'm referring to myself, am I not? Why am I speaking formally all of a sudden. Wow, Min Chi, you're really weird.


  "And didn't you asked me to make you coffee when you were in my house getting all cozy?" I asked him confusedly. "I was craving for coffee at that time. And I spotted your coffee maker so I asked you to make me coffee." He stated as a-matter-of-fact. I nodded, understanding him. "Oh yeah, is your thumb okay?" he asked me looking at my thumb.


  I raised it to look at it and found it perfectly okay. "It's fine." I said and put it down looking at him. "Hey! I got a booby because of you!" I said and glared at him which made him laugh... again. "Really, Kim Chi?" He asked me like I was a 5 year-old toddler. I can't blame him, though. I'm still calling my wounds 'booby' until now. No wonder San Beok seems to be annoyed by my childish attitude.


  We didn't stop walking 'cause the assembly hasn't started yet. "What time will you pick me up?" I asked. We were near the girls' rest room. "I'll pick you up at 1:00 and we'll finish in 4:00. Is that okay with you?" He asked, concerned. I nodded, assuring him. "Kim Chi, stay here, okay?" He said and rushed to the men's rest room. I chuckled. Who's the immature one now?


  "So, Baekhyun and you, huh?" A voice said from behind. I turn to look who it was. "Umm... I'm sorry but do I know you?" I asked rather confused. She laughed, bitterly. "I'm the girl friend of Baekhyun." she said proudly. Baekhyun? He has a girl friend? Wait, based on my observations and readings, if this girl is telling the truth she wouldn't be so full of herself. And I think, Baekhyun doesn't like this type of girls. Just saying what came to my mind....


  "Oh, well... Hello." I said and smiled, thoughtfully. If she's really telling the truth or not, I should be friendly. She looked at me, raising her eyebrow. "And who are you?" She asked, bitterly... again. Does she not know the word 'friendly' or 'nice'?


  "I'm Min Chi." I said plainly, smiling. She chuckled, I think you know her expression and the she said it. "Who are you?" She asked me. I look around. Is she talking to anyone but me? I've already told her my name. "I just said, I'm Min Chi." I said as calmly as possible. She seemed offended by my response. "I know who you are, babo!" she exclaimed, raising a little of her tone.


  "I'm sorry but what's your problem?" I asked her, curiously. Hey, she's asking me who I was then she answered me she knows who I am. Then she called me babo. What the heck is her problem? She seems rather offended again by my question. I'm not doing anything. I just asked her politely.


  "Kim Chi!" I hear Baekhyun's voice. Then he was beside me. I looked at him and looked at the girl who was suddenly nervous. "You've never told me, you have a girl friend." I asked rather serious glancing at the girl who, from now, I still do not know her name 'cause she was angry at me with no reason.


  Baekhyun suddenly became curious and scrunched his nose like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. I glanced at the girl, referring that she's his girl friend. Wait, isn't she? "I don't even know her." Baekhyun said, a little mad. He turned to the girl who was now glaring at me. Okay, she's really getting on my nerves.


  "Never mind." I said and smiled at them. "You still haven't told me your name." I asked her extending my hand. She just rolled her eyes and smiled at Baekhyun. "Bye Baekhyun!" she said and walked away. Baekhyun didn't respond to her wave but he looked at me.


  "Okay, I just left for 3 minutes. What just happened?" He asked and I laughed shaking my head. "That girl told me she was your girl friend." I said truthfully. He laughed without saying anything.

  I just want to say that this story is PG-13. Hello! I'm reading a lot of Romantic stories lately and I just can't help but fan girl. GOOD NEWS! TOMORROW IS THE COMEBACK OF EXO!!! In our country it's March 19 and their comback is March 20! Can't wait!
