Chapter 4: Annoying 짜증나

Third Person

  "Kim Chi, since Baekhyun's your guest you should serve him. I'll be in my room if you need me." Yoon Ji said as she was about to go upstairs but stopped, suddenly forgetting something to say to Kim Chi. "And mom and dad are out to work." she said not bothering to look at Kim Chi, she was so annoyed by her parents always fighting. They always wanted them to stop but it was no use. Their dad ignore their crazy remarks, but her mom always assured them that they will never leave them.

  Kim Chi turned to Baekhyun who was sitting comfortably on the couch looking around Kim Chi's house, amazed on how clean the house is. "Is it too much?" Kim Chi asked looking around, also. Baekhyun look at her not getting her question. Kim Chi must have noticed because of his face. She smiled and said "Our house, I mean. Is the cleanliness of our house too much?" Kim Chi asked. Thank goodness, Baekhyun was their guest otherwise somebody would misunderstand what Kim Chi said and they would think she's boastful. 

  Baekhyun understands Kim Chi's statement and smiled thoughtfully. "It's not that much. Although, it's cleaner than my room." He stated which made both of them laughed. He's so thoughtful. Kim Chi thought as she look at Baekhyun. "Do you want something to drink?" Kim Chi asked Baekhyun. Realizing that she was a bit hospitable, Baekhyun grinned and stood up, ruffling her hair. "Coffee would be fine." Baekhyun said. "Pshhh, you should've told me that you want coffee rather than messing with my hair." Kim Chi said while walking to the kitchen, fixing her hair.

  Who are you, Kim Chi? Baekhyun thought as he just stared at Kim Chi. 

Min Chi

  "You need some help?" Baekhyun asked, suprising me which made me spilt a little bit of coffee on my thumb. I placed it on the coffee plate. I'm determined to hide my thumb to Baekhyun but my mouth created a 'Sssss'. It stings. "Ya, 괜찮아? (Are you okay?)" Baekhyun said as he walk towards me. He took my elbow and turned me around. I look up at his face. It shows worry and panic... and a little bit angry. 

  Okay, I know I'm stupid and I should've quietly rinse it, but it's so stingy. "Assshhhiiipppp! Ah! 아파요! (It hurts!)" I whinced, biting my lower lip. I look at Baekhyun. His eyes full of worry and panic. He glanced at the sink and pulled my arm, but he touched my thumb. AHHH! I swear, I won't make hot coffee or any hot liquid, after this. "Ahhh! You touched it!" I complained as I hit his shoulder. 

  "Just stand still." He commanded and I did what he said. He rinsed my thumb, I just look at him. Is he a doctor? He's really good at this... Okay, maybe not, but he's still trying. He realizes that it's still red. He turned off the sink and look at me then look at my thumb then looked at me. "You might be surprise, but this is the only way I'm thinking right now." He said and with that he put my thumb on to his lips, and I felt his tongue and lips massaging my thumb. I stared at him, dumfounded.

  I can't move nor can't I even speak. What is he doing? My senses came back but I still can't move. He stopped massaging my thumb and reached something to his pocket. A band aid. He didn't looked at me but focused on putting the band aid on my thumb. I gulped. Wow, he's so caring.

  "Are you okay?" He asked sincerely and touched my arm. I looked at him without responding. He must have noticed it, so he snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Earth to Kim Chi." he said and slightly chuckled. I blinked twice before responding, "Yeah, I'm okay. You don't have to do that you know." I said and hit the back of his head. The only response I heard from him is his laughter.

  "If I didn't do that, you would've cried. I hate seeing someone I care, crying." He said and ruffled my hair. He noticed the coffe behind me, so, he took it and went to the living room. He's so caring. I thought as I smiled. Then that smile disappeared when I saw Yoon Ji standing at the door. "왜?" I asked and she just gave me another playful smile. 

  "I'm just here to get something to drink. Is that forbidden?" She asked, giving a wink before going to the refrigerator to grab some coke. Then she went upstairs. "Pshhh." There goes my famous Park Shin Hye pissed look.

  I went to the living room. "Your phone is in my room. I'm just going to get it." I said to him. He nodded, but his face was saying something. "Can I come?" He asked. I look at him and nodded. "I promise, I won't do anything wrong." He said and stood up to follow me. I laughed and said, "Am I asking? Besides, it's not like there's something wrong about that." I stated turning the door knob of my room.

  He remained silent after that. I grab my bag and unzipped it. Baekhyun went beside me and saw his phone. He immediately grab it before I could get it. I look at him, snickering. "Easy there, tiger. It's like you're hiding the biggest secret in your phone." I joked while patting his shoulder. He didn't show any emotion but a fake smile. "Yeah, haha." He laughed nervously.

  "Are you okay?" I asked him putting my hands on his shoulders, trying to see if he's alright. He looked at me and smiled, sincerely. "I should be asking you that." He said and focused his attention to my thumb which is a little okay now.

  "It still stings, but I'll be alright." I assured him playing with my thumb. He nodded and looked at me. "Since I got my phone back, I should get going." He said putting his hands on my shoulders too. I laughed. "Okay, okay. Are you sure? You want me to come with you?" I asked concernly. He chuckled at my question.

  "Relax, Kim Chi. I'm a boy. I'm sure I'll be fine." He said smiling. "Oh yeah, starting today, I'll call you Kim Chi." He declared. It seems that he's proud that he's also gonna call me 'Kim Chi'. I laughed at my own thoughts and nodded. "Whatever you want Byun." I said and stuck my tongue out. "Let's have our nicknames then! You'll call me Byun, since my family just calls me that. And I'll call you Kim Chi since your family just calls you that!" He said happily.

  "We're a family then." I said patting his head. He smiled and nodded. Awwww. He's so my boy best friend now.

  A short chapter for a short hour! I'm bored, and there's nothing to do today. And I just want to update a short chapter since the previous one is long (I think). I'm finally done with everything! YAY! I hope you have a great summer! For all the filipinos! I want to thank Ateneo De Manila University and God for being my inspiration on writing this chapter. I love you God!
