Selena stared at Nick. Why was he so tense? Who was that man and why did his presence make Nick so mad? Sensing that this couldn't be good, Selena hurriedly pulled Sarah to her side and hid her behind her back. The man chuckled at that.

"Relax, Nick. I was just talking to the lovely girl." The man said.

"Talking my ass. I asked what you were doing here." Nick said angrily.

"Well, I came to see you of course. I heard that you were at a hospital, and I was just about to go to your hospital room when I met this girl here." The man gave a smirk. Selena and Nick both frowned at that. 

"Get out of my sight, Now. I made it clear that I didn't want to see you for the rest of my life." Nick growled.

"And I told you that I was sorry more than a hundred times." The man said half-heartedly.

"Wow. You apologized to me. Problem solved right?" Nick said sarcastically.

"Exactly! Great that you finally seem to get it." The man clapped. Selena just started at the both of them, not understanding the situation at all.

"Are you dense? You don't really mean any of your apologies! And I don't want it. That won't make her come back." Nick clenched his fists again.

"Who? What, Are you still mad about that girl? What was her name..Seila? No, wait, Selena! That's it!" The man said.

"Don't even mention her name." Nick spat. Selena was quite bewildered.

"She isn't worth losing your family, Nick." The man said.

"You are not my family. I made it clear on that day." Nick angrily glared at the man. He soon turned around and grabbed Selena's hand. "Let's go." he said.

Selena, holding Nick's hand in one hand and Sarah's at the other, followed Nick out of the hospital. 

"Who was that?" Selena asked. Nick acted as if he couldn't hear her.

"Nick?" Selena said as she stopped walking. Nick sighed and rubbed his face with his hands.

"That...That was my brother, Ethan." Nick said.

"Hmm. Well, you two look very friendly." Selena said sarcastically, trying to catch a cab.

"You think?" Nick said as he rolled his eyes. As Selena tried to ask him about why her name was in their conversation, Nick beat her to it. "I can't tell you that." 

"Why?" Selena whined. She was really curious. Who was this Selena? What has Ethan done?

"Now that's a personal matter, Ms. Jenkins." Nick said, trying to joke around.

"Don't call me that. It makes me feel old." Selena said.

"Fine. Let's just go to your house. I have some damage control to do." Nick snapped.

Selena's heart stopped at that. Why was he mad at her all of a sudden? She didn't do anything wrong now, did she? They all soon went into the cab and Selena told the driver her address.

"Look, I didn't mean to snap at you." Nick apologetically said as he tried to catch Selena's eyes.

Selena just stared out the window. 

"My brother and I..We don't have a great relationship after the incident. I would explain what happened, but it's still raw to me. I was quite agitated back there. I'm sorry I took it out on you. Will you forgive me? "Nick said as he held Selena's hand.

"I'm sorry as well. I shouldn't have pried." Selena said as she shook her head.

Nick suddenly chuckled. "Why she is an adorable one, isn't she?" Sarah was leaning on Nick, dozing off while she mumbled. 

"She's my little angel." Selena smiled as she said it.

"You guys make a cute couple. That little booger looks more like her dad than her mum." A rough voice cut in their conversation.

"Oh. No. We are not married." Selena said as she blushed. What was with everyone thinking they were married?!

"Oh, Not yet sweetheart." Nick smirked as he pulled Selena more close to him.

Selena's face reddened more. What was with all the flirting?
