Nick has been living a boring life, preparing for Christmas year after year.
After 'The Incident', Nick has lost the meaning to truly live.
That is until he meets two sisters that will give his life an 180 turn.
Will this Santa Claus be able to go...
Nick dragged himself out of bed. It was time to work no matter how unhappy he was. A small bell chimed in front of his bedroom door.
"Come in." Nick grunted as he pulled on a shoe.
"Ah. Nick my boy! We need you urgently down the workshop. The Elves are in a panic! Apparently, some of the presents went missing and they are blaming Chuck for it." Sam sighed as he rubbed his face with his hand. Sam was stuck in his late 60's and had a little beer belly that made him huggable. He was like Nick's own grandfather that Nick would never see again.
"Chuck huh? Why am I not surprised?" Nick hurriedly grabbed his coat off the hanger and ran out the door after Sam. They ran down the corridor to an elevator.
"Blast. It's on the B50 floor..Considering we are on the 20th floor it's going to take a while." Sam grumbled under his breath.
"Calm down Sam. The elves are just going to have to wait." Nick said as he patted Sam's shoulder.
"You didn't see those crazy little buggers! They were all running around, waving their tiny arms crazily shouting 'It's gone!! Chuck!!Christmas is Doomed!' God they are annoying." Sam, imitating the elves' squeaky voice, yanked his hair with his hands.
"Woah there. Easy on your grip. Your hair ain't gonna grow back till much later. And the elevator is here now. Let's go." Nick went in and pressed the button to close the elevator door.
'Ping!'
After a few minutes, they finally reached their floor. As Nick and Sam went out the elevator, they were greeted by one elf who hurriedly ran to them.
"Thank god you are here!! About half of our presents are missing! It's chaos! We can't prepare it all again in time!" The elf wailed as the others stopped running around and started to cry too.
"Relax. Breathe. You said to Sam that Chuck did it?" Nick patted the elf's head. The elf hiccupped and nodded.
"Alright. I'm going to confront Chuck about this. Sam, you better prepare the reindeer. You are going to leave tomorrow to deliver presents. The presents must be delivered in time." Nick commanded and left swiftly to meet Chuck.
Meeting Chuck wasn't really high on his to-do list, which was why he had been ignoring every call that came from Chuck for a month. Nick went back to his room and grabbed the teleporter on his desk. He sighed and teleported to Chuck's place.
"Why it's such a pleasure to see you here! I knew you missed me!!" Chuck flew across his room and hugged Nick. Yup. Flew.
"Yeah, I'm gonna ignore that. You know why I'm here Chuck." Nick said as he swatted Chuck away.
"Why it's because I'm so handsome and amazing and you missed me!! I knew you loved me!" Chuck sang as he hugged Nick again.
"No. It's because you stole half of the presents that are supposed to be delivered tomorrow." Nick rolled his eyes.
"How can you accuse me of doing that? Wow. I'm so hurt right now." Chuck put a hand on his heart and fake cried, over-dramatically.
"Mhm. Hand them over Chuck." Nick said.
"Nope." Chuck kept on the crying act.
"Aha! So you admit that you took them!" Nick pointed an accusing finger at Chuck.
"Umm...Oh fine. I took them. But you weren't going to come to see me unless I did it!! You always send Sam to get the time holder, and I haven't seen you in years!" Chuck held his hands exasperatedly, pouting.
"It has been a few months Chuck. Not years. Remember? You came barging in and held one of the elves for ransom? By the way, that elf has a trauma thanks to you. He panics whenever he sees things with wings." Nick sighed.
"Oh pish posh. He looked like he was enjoying it! And FYI, My wings are extraordinary. How dare he even compare it to a bug's wing!" Chuck fumed.
"Sure it is. So." Nick said.
"So, what?" Chuck asked innocently.
"The presents that you took?" Nick said exasperatedly.
"You have to visit me at least once a month for 10 years." Chuck smiled cheekily.
"No way. That is not happening." Nick crossed his arms.
"Fine by me. I guess that I can just throw away all the beautifully wrapped presents that must have took ages for those little elves to do so. Bye Nick!" Chuck waved goodbye.
"Damn it. Make it 5 years." Nick said.
"No. 10 years. Take it or leave it." Chuck said merrily.
"..."
"Oh, those buggers will be screaming all day! I can hear them right now! 'Oh, Nick! We can't do it!! Christmas is ruined, it's ruined!!' It must be very annoying to hear it over and over and-"
"Fine!!! I'll take it!" Nick glared at Chuck.
"Splendid. You know what will happen if you don't keep your promise!" Chuck sang. Nick shuddered at the memory.
"Oh, you made sure that I remember. So. Where are the presents?" Nick asked.
"It's already back to where it belongs." Chuck said, snapping his fingers.
"Thank goodness." Nick sighed.
"You know it has nothing to do with goodness, Sweetheart. Now run along!" and with that, Chuck snapped his fingers, transporting Nick out of his office.

I spent a lot of time thinking about Chuck's character!
I like him :)♡
If you were about to cast someone as Chuck, who would it be? Any recommendations?:)
