"Yes. Old times. But unlike then, I'm giving you a choice. You can pick which Selena I can kill." Ethan said sweetly.

Nick was horrified. He knew Ethan was a sick bastard, but this was too much.

"We don't have much time brother. We only have 30 minutes left till poor little Selena goes back to the past to face the ending she knows will happen. The poor thing will live in horror, just waiting for her ending to come." Ethan said, biting Selena's earlobe.

Selena shivered. If this sick bastard had really killed her, then she really wanted to escape this fate of hers.

Selena stood behind Nick, staring blankly at Ethan. The psychopath had come to ruin all of their lives. She wanted Nick to be happy, but did that mean she had to die? What if she did die? Who would take care of Sarah? 

Selena stood with Ethan right behind her back, still holding the dagger at her side. She wanted to be with Nick. More than anything. But if that meant she had to kill another to do so, She didn't want that. Knowing that she had taken a future from Selena and a sister from the little one,  She will never be happy with the guilt in her heart. 

"Come on now Nick, Is it too hard for you to choose? Guess he didn't love you enough huh?" Ethan smirked, directing the last sentence to Selena. 

Selena stared into Nick's eyes. She had had her doubts momentarily with jealousy covering her sight, but by just looking at his eyes she could feel his love.

"Nick? Did you love me till I met my fate?" Selena whispered.

Nick choked on his tears. "With all my heart. I have never forgotten you. You always had a piece of my heart."

Selena smiled through her tears. "Then that's enough for me." She said.

It was all over in a flash. Selena turned abruptly toward Ethan, causing the dagger to plunge into her. 

"No!" Nick cried out running toward her.

"I'll never make you go through that. never." Selena said, clutching Nick's hand.

"It wasn't supposed to end like this. It wasn't. It was you that was supposed to die!" Ethan yelled as he pulled out the dagger from Selena. Blood gushed out from the wound.

Ethan ran toward Selena raising the dagger high. Selena froze at the spot and Nick failed to stop him. 

"Not. So. Fast." Chuck said, holding out a finger. Ethan clutched his head and fell to the floor. All the things he had done wrong, All the times he wanted to hide flashed by in his head.

"Ethan Charles Fields, You are under arrest for the murder of Selena Harolds and for the inference of Time." Chuck said, as men in uniform burst in Chuck's study grabbing Ethan, putting handcuffs on him.

"Selena." Nick whispered brushing Selena's cheeks, not minding the chaos surrounding them. It was his chance to say goodbye.

"Promise me." Selena said, looking Nick in the eye.

"Anything." Nick said as a tear dropped from his eyes.

"Promise me that I can have a piece of your heart forever." Selena smiled, her voice wavering.

"You have my word. I'll never stop loving you." Nick said as he kissed Selena on the lips. 

"I'm sorry for not listening to your side of the story Nick. I really am. If I could go back in time..." Selena whispered as Nick shook his head.

"Don't be sorry. I'm the one who should be sorry." Nick said as he tried to keep away the tears. 

"Selena?" Selena said as she tried to find her.

"I'm here." Selena said as she knelt down beside Selena.

"I'm so sorry for being such a bi*ch to you. You didn't deserve it. I was just too clouded by my jealousy. Will you forgive me?" Selena said, tears in her eyes.

"Yes. I forgive you." Selena said. All the name calling didn't matter. She really wished Selena could be here, having her happily ever after with Nick. 

"Take care of Nick for me. I might have a piece of his heart, but the rest will be full of you." Selena said as she held Selena's hand. 

"I..." Selena couldn't manage herself to form a sentence.

"I know love when I see one. My time has already come, Selena. I can only wish you the best instead of being jealous." Selena said. Her vision was getting darker. She had to see Nick for one last time.

"I love you, Nick Fields." Selena said.

"I love you too." Nick said, smiling through his tears.
