# Corpse Bride -  Victor's Piano Solo

Selena went inside the house followed by Nick who was holding Sarah, who was sleeping in his arms.

"I'm going to lie her on the couch." Nick said as he went his way to the living room.

Selena took off her coat and searched for Nick's. She soon frowned. She was so sure that she had left it hanging on the coat rack after the paramedics took it off from him.

"So! Can I have my coat back?" Nick said as he came out of the living room.

"Funny story here. The coat is missing.." Selena mumbled the words at the end. She was freaking out here. From Nick's previous response, the coat seemed to mean much to him.

Nick froze when he heard Selena said that his coat was missing. Shit. This was bad. This was so freaking bad. What was he going to do?! All he had now was the necklaces and.. Snowy! He had forgotten all about the poor reindeer! The poor creature must have been waiting for him to come back all day!

"I'll be right back!" Nick blurted as he went upstairs. Selena frowned. She was expecting an outburst. But why the hell was he going upstairs? He wasn't going to her room, right?

Nick went his way to the roof and found Snowy and other reindeer all glowering at him.

"Look. This isn't my fault! I passed out okay? I have some damage control to do quickly. We are going to leave soon." Nick said. Before leaving, he had to figure out where his coat was. Nick went his way to the living room again.

"Selena? Where are you?" Nick said.

"I'm in the kitchen!" Selena hollered. Nick made his way to the kitchen. Sarah was rubbing the sleep from her eyes and was drinking an orange juice. Selena was wearing an apron, making pancakes.

"This little piggy wanted pancakes. Do you want some?" Selena said.

"I have to ask you something first. Do you remember when you last saw my coat?" Nick asked. Selena's eyebrows scrunched up as she tried to remember the details.

"When the paramedics took the coat off of you, I hung it on the coat rack and soon followed them to the ambulance." Selena answered.

"So you saw it last while you were locking up?" Nick asked.

"No, I was too worried about you to care about that." Selena answered. Then she realized that she had locked the front door in the first place. Then how was it unlocked when she got back?

"Nick, I locked the door when we left the house! But it was unlocked when we came back." Selena said, all panicked.

"Santa?" Sarah said as she tugged at Nick's sweater.

"Shh Honey. I'm trying to think here." Nick said.

"But," Sarah said.

"Think, Nick, Think!" Nick started to pace around, tugging his hair in frustration. Selena stared at him quite amused while she flipped the pancakes. She had to stop herself from drooling. That guy looked like a Greek God even when he was freaking out about something.

"Selena?" Sarah said. Selena was too busy in her thoughts that she reacted a second later.

"Yes, Angel?" Selena answered with a blush.

"The strange man before told me to give this to Santa." Sarah said as she pulled out a crumpled paper from her pocket.

Selena spread out the scrunched up paper and read the note. Her eyes went wide with shock.

"Nick!" Selena said. Nick was way engrossed with his thoughts, pacing around like a madman.

"Nick!!" Selena yelled.

"What? I'm trying to think here!" Nick let out a frustrated sigh.

"You have to see this, you dimwit." Selena said as she handed the paper to Nick, who looked confused.

Nick, too, read the paper and started cursing loudly.

"That little good for nothing piece of-"

"There's a child present!" Selena scolded as she put the pancakes on a plate, pouring syrup for Sarah.

"Oh. Ethan is so going to pay for this." Nick growled.

"What's a time holder? And why are you mad? What did he mean by he will bring Selena to you again?" Selena asked.

"That son of a, sorry- Ethan," Nick spat Ethan's name with disgust.

"Ethan is trying to bring Selena to the present from the past." Nick sighed as he stared at the ground.

Oh, Ethan, you shouldn't really have done that.
