Killer Amusement

Chapter 5

        The next morning i woke up to the sound of someone turning on the shower faucet for a shower and looked over at the clock. 

"Its 10:30," Lexie said still in turning over toward me. "Morning nat, How'd you sleep last night?" 

"I didnt...," i said softly. "Had a nightmare....." I remembered ashley and kayla kissing and the messages last night, all that worry and betrayal came back, it started making my side hurt again. "Lex, can i tell you something?" i sat up looking at her. "You might think this is insane, but, please dont tell kuno..." 

"You got a text , didnt you?" she spoke catching me off guard, i didnt know she was getting messages too. "Umm, i used your phone to spy on kayla, mine was dead at the time and yours was in my reach. Im sorry i shouldve asked...." She sighed.

"I-its fine lexie. But last night.... Kayla and ash snuck out to the park." i hesitated. 

"really?" she said laughing a little. "How? invisibilty? Theres no way nat." 

I tossed her my phone and as she read the messages i took advantage that kuno was showering to get dressed. The look on her face when lexie was reading went from not believing me to confused then shock.  "I knew it..." lexie whispered. "Kuno doesnt deserve this shit And neither does bry-"

"Lex.." I said shushing her. "We are all friends here, Maybe we can fix this before its to late. I mean come on, kuno LOVES ash, and so does bry toward kayla, If we fuck this up the wrong way before talking about it things can get bad quick."

"Evidence." Lexie clapped at the idea. "We wait for them to do it again and we go out to catch them, maybe kuno will get his head out of the 'There just friends' idea."

"What about bry?" i sighed sadly. "Shes gonna have a hard time with this."

"Her true friends will be there." She smiled taking my hand. "Nat I-"

The bathroom door swung open and kuno stepped out dressed and sat down on the foot of the bed putting on his arm sling. "Morning lex, nat." He yawned. "We going down for breakfast or what?" 

"Yeah." I nodded. "You coming lex?"

"Oh, um of course." She smiled nervously at me. "Let me first get dressed, ill meet you two downstairs." 

I followed kuno out the door and down the hall where we patiently waited for the elevator to get down to our floor. Meanwhile kuno took out his phone and sent a quick text, to ashley i bet.

"I love her nat." He chuckled. "If it wasnt for her id still be one lonely fucker. Shes my world." 

"Thats great to have, but i dont wanna be rude or anything kuno, and youve been my friend for 3 years now, You have so much life left and so much other new people to meet-"

"What are you trying to say?" he said confused.

"Dont put all your eggs in one basket.." i sighed. "But what do i know!" i laughed lighting up the mood. "I just woke up, im talking stupid kuno."  He smiled and threw me a playful punch.

"Speaking of life!" he yawned. "Im just gonna take the stairs, i need to move around, see you at breakfast!."

The elevator arrived just as he started heading down the stairs and i stepped in and decided to go wake up bryana, so i pushed the 5th floor button. The doors closed and the elevator took me two floors up and dinged. The doors opened and i could hear muffled arguing coming from bryanas room.

"-Its like you never wanna do anything with me!" i heard bryanas voice crack. "Its always ash, ash, ash!" 

"You wouldnt understand-"
