Killer Amusement

Chapter 9

                           I stood there shocked and my mind going off with millions of questions and the answers i got was pointing all at kayla and ashley. I Invited bryana inside and lexie got up to comfort her and calm her down.

"I should tell kayla!" She cried.

"N-No!" Lexie responded. "I mean i thought you told them already?" 

"I Knocked on their door but there was no answer, and besides mama would've been back already." Bryana sniffed. "I just have a real bad feeling nat!" She cried into lexies arms.

"Sleep here tonight bry." I said locking the door. "It'll help lex and i feel relieved if you're with us tonight."

"We'll go to the police in the morning to report it." Lexie comforted."Right nat?"

I nodded thinking about kuno and mama and birdie and the whole situation were in, Whats going on?.  "I dont think ill sleep tonight guys." I sighed trying to shake the thoughts away.

"Me neither." Bry sniffed laying in the other bed. "Wanna talk about something?" 

"hmm i won a softball game last week." Lexie chuckled. "First game i won since freshman and sophmore year!"

"Wow sophmore year feels like forever ago." Bryana smiled."Its been two years but still, We have so much memories!"

"Some bad ones too" I sighed not really wanting to remember.

"Oh right.." Lexie sat cross legged on the opposite bed. "Thats the year about daniel and you mom."

"Y-yeah.." i said sitting on the floor between them. "Can we-"

"And your suicide." bryana added. "You werent really gonna do it? Were you?' 

"At the time, i really wanted to do it." I sighed. "I was in a very bad time and all i really wanted was to sleep and never wake up."

"But you fixed that now right?" Bryana asked concerned.

"I-i mean yeah, of course. But you know, sometimes my mom stresses me-"

"Yeah we get it." Bryana sighed rolling her eyes tossing me a pillow. "Lighten up now."

Lexie placed a gentle hand on my shoulder, it felt so comforting and warm all i wanted was to forget about all that. "Im with someone new now, so my past is behind me now." i smiled weakly. 

"But it just seems like you just put a bandage over everything an expect it to be okay nat?" Bryana questioned.

"Just let her be bry" Lexie sighed throwing her a pillow. "Theres some moments that stay with you even of you dont want them to be."

"And thats why its called growing up! sheesh, we all do it. Just some people like to dwell in the fucking past." 

"Okayyyy we should head to bed now." I clapped turning off the nights and laying back in bed next to lexie.

"Sorry nat." I heard bryana whisper. "Its all gonna change, dont worry." 

"Its okay." I whispered back and closed my eyes. 

                       I felt a cold wetness dripping onto my forehead, as i slowly opened my eyes i could see i was no longer on my bed but outside in the center of the park.

"Hello?" I coughed as the air was freezing cold around me. "Lexie?" I began to feel scared as no one was around but me.

"Get out..."

"whose there!" i called out beginning to run back to the hotel when i saw kuno sprint across ahead of me. "Kuno!" I called out following him as fast as i could. I followed him all the way to the backstage area where he led me inside a warehouse full of broken figures and rides to fix. 

"Kuno?" I whispered as the atmosphere was beginning to get creepier as i walked through it. I tripped over something that caught my leg and landed on top of something soft and cold. As i began to distinguish the figures from the light i could see kunos face. 

"Oh my god!" I screamed scrabbling to get up. As i began to walk back i could begin to see lexie and bryanas bloody bodies next to kunos. All i could do was stare in horror at there lifeless bodies on the ground.

"Get out!"

As i began to step away i noticed i was clenching something in my hand, i brought it up to see a sharp knife dripping in blood. I Immediately dropped it and turned to see a reflection of me standing there laughing at the lifeless bodies of my friends.

"They deserved it."  My reflection cackled.

"NATASHA!"

                                 "Natasha!" My ears rang as i abruptly sat up in bed sweating and panting. It was just a nightmare. 

"Its just a nightmare nat." I heard lexie say softly. I didnt think of it and hugged lexie so tight and crying into her shoulder. I couldnt take it anymore, i just emptied my sorrows out on her and hugged her tightly.

"I wanna go home!" I cried. "Im not strong enough for this...Somethings gonna happen lex and birdie is gonna be behind it!"

"Wait what?" I heard bryana choke out as she got out of the shower.

Lexie quickly glanced at me and nodded, The tie had come to tell her. "Kunos not sick." I cried.

"Hes with ash? Right?" She replied confused. "Whats going on?" 

"No," Lexie gulped standing up. "I think you should sit down for this bry." 

"Can you just tell me!" She snapped. "What the hell is going on with birdie!"

"Okay okay" I Sighed. "For starters, kunos not sick and we made sure of that when we snuck into ashley and kaylas room. And he wasnt there." Bryana looked at me and lexie confused and speechless,

"Its true bry," Lexie said sitting next to her. "I know its hard to believe but birdie and ash are in on kunos disappearance and maybe mamas too. Right after mama said she was gonna go visit kuno last night? Dont you think that a little bit coincidental!" 

"Y-You're lying!" She countered. "Is this some kind of joke?! Both of you are abso-Fucking nuts!" 

"Please listen-"

"Oh shut it nat! I bet your just as crazier as lexie, Really?" She hissed. "And too think i felt sorry for you and invited you? I was wrong to come sleep here in the first place." She said and left shutting the door behind her. I was speechless and hurt, i felt my heart sink to the ground and tears streaming down my face. 

"You did your best to try to explain-"

"But my best wasn't hard enough lex!" I cried. "Shes in trouble and i could've adverted her from danger and i all i wanted was to help but like always its never good enough! I need to stop kayla and ash cause somethings gonna happen!" 

"She'll find out herself nat." Lexie comforted. "Please dont cry. Lets get out of here nat. Tonight. We can flee this nightmare. Just you and me!"

"N-No... Even if they beat me to pieces ill always be there for my friends, Now more than ever, i have to stay and and convince them that kayla and ash are up to no good!"

"But-"

"I know its hard..." I cried. "But my friends are all i have, And i promise no on will hurt you lex!" I held her hand hoping she would stay with me. 

"P-Promise." She sighed sadly holding my hand tighter.

"I swear on my life. No ones gonna hurt my friends."
