Killer Amusement

Chapter 10

                           I sat in bed staring out to the balcony into the closed park, without my phone i couldnt figure out kaylas plans anymore, I felt desperate for answers. Lexie left a while ago for breakfast and i stayed behind cause i didnt wanna see anyone or deal with anyone. I grabbed my pills and took two with a cup of water i grabbed earlier. I rubbed my side feeling numb and depressed, what a great combo. I walked out to the balcony and took a deep breath and taking a seat on the ground. 

"What have i done to deserve this?" I sighed as i noticed the monorail had slight curve leading out to the parking lot. But it was practically 30 feet above ground, it would impossible to jump down from it without breaking a leg. 

"I brought you some breakfast!" Lexie came in carrying two plates, one with eggs and bacon the other some hot pancakes drizzled in syrup. "I also didnt know if you would want orange juice, milk or coffee so i brought up all of them." She smiled carrying the cups as well as the two plates.

"You didnt have too!" I smiled taking the two plates and placing them on the night stand. 

"I wanted too nat." She said grabbing some bacon and fed it to me. "Besides, bryana was alone and crying. I wanted to sit next to her but when i did she just stood up and left."

"I feel guilty" I mumbled not feeling hungry.

"I Did a little snooping outside kaylas room and i overheard them doing things....."

"Besides that." I mumbled

"They were talking about the pirates ride, Maybe, we should go check it out?" She whispered."Maybe look for mama."

I Picked at the eggs and bacon when something i noticed something slightly showing on her shoulder, a fresh bruise. I  looked away and realized that it mightve been from the time we went down the rapids ride. But it was fresh?

"You sure they didnt catch you snooping?" I questioned sipping on some orange juice.

"Im sure." She replied catching my sight on her shoulder. "I Bumped into the elevator doors, its nothing."

"Im gonna shower..." I sighed tiredly drinking the last of the juice. "Umm Would you mind asking one of the hotel maids to get us fresh towels. Were out of them." 

She nodded and i headed to the bathroom and turned on the shower while i waited for Lexie to be back with a fresh towel. I Took off the bandage from my arm and disposed of it and took a look at the stitches. They didn't look so bad, just dirty. I changed my mind and decided to take a bath and shut the shower head off and let the faucet run. I got shut the bathroom door and got undressed, there was still a huge purple bruise on my side. I sat in the tub looking up at the ceiling with a small wet towel on my forehead. 

"I got you some-"

"AAAAA Lexie!" I jumped scared. 

"Sorry! I didn't know you'd be undressed already!" She said flustered. 

"I-Its okay..." I gulped covering myself best i can. "Can you um, get out?" 

"Oh uh yeah!" Her face turning more red. "Ill just leave the bathrobe here. Sorry!"

God, cant i get a break.

                                 I took a long nap after my shower in the bathrobe lexie had brought for me, it was a pink minnie one that was so comfortable and warm. I woke up yawning and looked over at the clock but instead saw two plates of food, probably from dinner. 

"Its about 10." Lexie said sitting on the bed with a plate of food on her lap. "I didnt wanna wake you up so i brought you up dinner. Dont forget were sneaking out tonight."

"I Know, i was just so tired after that shower." I yawned sitting up and grabbing a plate with a hamburger and a separate plate of fries. "Did you see the kayla and ash at dinner?"

"Yeah." She chewed. "And bryana. She seemed more wary of being around kayla, i think she noticed something about her." 

"I dont know, maybe kayla told her something and we're left back from where we started." i sighed. "Basically nothing." I continued eating away at my burger and fries. "Ready?" I asked ditching my plate and getting dressed into some jeans and jacket. She nodded and turned out the lights while i went ahead and began climbing down. As we climbed down the rope ladder a small piece snapped from underneath me. 

"Fuck!" I cursed frightened. It was just one of the steps, i was worried it would be the whole ladder. I clenched tighter and made my way down.

                                                        "Come on." Lexie whispered leading me to the pirates ride. "Before they get here." 

I followed her to New Orleans square, a section of the park dedicated to imitate the New Orleans culture. The Haunted mansion looked really haunted and eerie at this time of night and I had to look away cause it was sending shivers down my spine. We made it to the entrance of the pirates ride and i followed lexie inside when i noticed on my way in that the entrance to the hidden rooms above the ride was messed with. Upon closer inspection i noticed the cord that would typically close off this hidden room was on the ground.

"Nat!" Lexie whispered sharply calling out for me. I waved her over and went up the stairs that led to a large white door with glass window to peek into. All i could see was a beautiful living room area that was designed to look French Provincial style to match the New Orleans Square setting. 

"Can you see anything?" Lexie whispered also peeking in. I tried the door handle and not to my surprise it was locked.

"Fuck" i cursed. "Do you have a paper clip by chance?"

"Here." She said taking off one of her hair clips. "Try this."

I took it apart and began lock picking thee best i could with what i have, luckily lexie brought the small flashlight with her that made it easier to see the lock. I was finally able to put this useless skill to the test.

"Nat? can i tell you something." She shivered. It was a cold night, i could see my breath as i breathed. I nodded still picking away. "I've wanted to tell you this for awhile now...."

"Lexie hold the light still." I whispered.

"Nat, Ive had a crush on you for awhile now." She spat fast i could hardly understand.

"Whaaaa-Got it!" I said hearing the door lock click and i opened it letting us inside. It was beautiful, no wonder they only allow celebrities in here. There was a chandelier hanging from the ceiling of the living room and a small hall closet down the hall that led to some bedrooms. Lexie walked to one of the bedrooms while i scavenged around the small kitchen area and cabinets in hopes of another flashlight. I opened the cabinet under the sink and found an emergency pouch and opened it to find a similar flashlight to lexies.

"Perfect." I sighed shining it on. 

"Nat!" I heard lexie running to me scared and crying. "B-Blood! The bed- I-I-"

"Calm down! What?!"

"B-Blood on- on the bed!" She panicked, i ran to the room and on sure enough as i shined my light on the bed there was blood splattered on the pillows and sheets.

"K-Kuno.." Lexie said as i turned to her as she picked up a phone i recognized instantly as kunos phone that she found under a desk. "Wh-What the hell is happening..." She trembled in fear as i tried to keep calm. 

"o-okay" I began to tremble. "Lets get out of here-"

"Did you leave the door open?" I heard the main door swing open hearing ashleys voice. 

"No i always lock it." Kayla replied.

Fuck.

"Lexie, hide..."
