~Chapter 2~

~Natsu's Pov~  

Erza was taken to a different part of the building as Gajeel, Gray and I were beaten and thrown into a room filled with badly hurt males. Some children, some teen, some adults and some old. "W-was that really Shrimp back there?" Gajeel was on his knees looking down and depressed. "I kinda hope that she looked like she enjoyed the idea of killing" Gray replied not helping Gajeel's state as I moved over to Gajeel sitting down on the ground hurt in front of him. I was punched in the gut a lot and hard as well.

"If that is Levy you have to remember she had been through a lot she must of been forced to kill to live and being a slave to this Priestess and Zeref she is being forced to be like this Gajeel" I spoke as he looked at me his eyes watering what shocked me as he was looking to see if I was so sure. "Levy has to be in there" I spoke as Gajeel closed his eyes nodded. Gray was looking around as the wall went down showing the girls as we saw Erza being dragged to a stage. "Selling time" some of the males around whispered. 

Gray, Gajeel and I moved to the front fast as Levy was in a seat near the stage looking toward Erza in shock, she was sweating slightly as guilt was on her face. "That's Shrimp, it really is her" Gajeel whispered as it had to of been the Levy we knew. That Leroy was on the stage putting chains on Erza's wrist that kept her stuck on that stage as some others were being dragged on. I saw by Erza's face she was having flash backs. "EVERYONE BOW TO THE GREAT PRIESTESS WHO MIGHT SHOW YOU ALL MERCY" Leroy shouted.

My whole world came crashing down as I saw Lucy walking onto the stage with her eyes looking forward. No emotion on her face as she was wearing a light pink Priestess outfit matching Levy's as I noticed a phoenix symbol on her right hand where he guild mark used to be. It was the same salmon colour as the guild mark had. Lucy looked right at Erza who was staring at her in pure shock and fear. "I would like to say sorry to you all" Lucy spoke facing the crowds of female and male, facing toward us.

"As the human leader of Lord Zeref's table I am still failing in freeing humans from slavery. I will keep trying I will. But people spreading rumors of mages of the past coming back from the dead must be put down if the Human Race is to live on" Lucy then spoke pretty loudly for us all to hear as guilt was in her eyes. Some were shouting 'lair' while the rest were quiet in scared. That Leroy went forward to put the shouts down until Lucy lifted her hand stopping him. "Well this is no good at all Lucy" Zeref's voice spoke getting everyone to go quiet.

Soon the Dark Wizard was walking onto the stage as Levy stood up fast looked scared and worried. "Lord Zeref" Lucy turned to face him looking shock. "I am here to say your offer has been agreed by the leaders, Humans will soon no longer be slaves but all those who use magic must be killed" Zeref spoke as Lucy's eyes widen in shock everyone around us whispering. 'Did she really save us all?'. That was all I could hear, the same question being whispered over and over again. 

Lucy's eyes soon closed as she took a deep breath. "Thank you My Lord" she spoke bowing slightly as she then opened her eyes and turned her head to look at Levy who slowly and sadly nodded. "My Lord, there is something else is there not, you never come to me uninvited unless you have a mission for me" Lucy then spoke turning her head to the Dark Wizard who smiled toward her. "Like normal you know me too well Phoenix Priestess. We must talk in private, your humans are free to build a city around your temple" he replied.

"Leroy help any in need and get the great guards to help also, Lord Zeref and I will be safe alone" Lucy ordered as her and Zeref went toward an exit as I saw Levy's worried face turn to rage as she went onto the stage. "Now you idiots don't you see? She never sold any of you for years and now she finally has freed you to have normal lifes" Levy nearly shouted in some rage in her voice as many looked guilty as Leroy crossed his arms standing close to Levy. "She can lift the all who learns magic should die but you will never be able to use magic again" Levy soon nearly shouted.

"Magic is what makes us who we are how do you think we have lived in the wild lands?" a woman behind who was chained shouted in rage. "I know,  you think I don't miss using magic myself?" Levy soon asked as they looked at her shocked. "Every time I use magic I get beaten and in trouble. I only use it to protect you all so please until we can figure out a way for magic to be returned do not use it" Levy then nearly shouted as Leroy looked away worried and guilty face as Gajeel looked pissed as hell.

"What do we do? Our own mages have joined Zeref?" Gray whispered to us pissed off himself. "She most likely had no choice" Gajeel snapped looking at Gray as I nodded in agreement of Gajeel as Gray looked toward Erza who was being freed and ordered to return to her group. "Leroy, please be on guard the Priestess is a bigger target now than ever" I heard Levy whisper before she walked off to the entrance Lucy and Zeref had gone through. "What do we do?" Gray mumbled to himself thinking.

Lucy.....

Levy.....

What happened to you two?
