It's Pathetic

Jesus has never been in Daryl's house in Alexandria. He's been in Rick and Michonne's house and even Aaron and Eric's, but he has never stepped foot in Daryl's. It's not uncommon for this thing to occur. Daryl loves his privacy, and this is his first house that he's had to himself in, well, ever. The redneck just chooses to not have guests over.

Now Jesus has been bothering his boyfriend about this forever. For months he somehow finds a way to slip the subject into every conversation the two have. Daryl brushes it off, not giving the man a good reason why he doesn't want him in his house. Jesus drops the subject, only to bring it up again not even an hour later.

So, just to get Jesus off his back, Daryl finally decides to let Jesus inside his home. And that's where we are right now.

Daryl, being the shitty tour guide he is, gives Jesus a half assed tour of the fairly clean house. It's only clean because Daryl has been staying at hilltop most of the time. Jesus is so happy to be in the place where Daryl actually has lived, despite Daryl's negative attitude about it.

Finally at the end of the tour, Daryl takes Jesus upstairs and to the end of the hall to a closed door. He opens it up and Jesus walks inside. Taking in every inch of the bland room. It's a bedroom, with one queen sized bed, a brown wooden dresser, and beige walls.

"What's this?" Jesus asks completely confused and a bit offended in a way.

"my bedroom." Daryl responds while picking at his finger nails.

"No, this is pathetic." Jesus states, "bland, bland, bland! No paintings on the walls, boring white sheets, no color at all. Who could actually sleep in something so boring."

"don't be a prick, it's a bed to sleep in, that's all ya need in this world now." Daryl starts to walk away from the room. Jesus follows closely behind him.

"It's just needs some color and it'll be alright!" Jesus exclaims.

"Man, I like it the way it is, sorry if that don't appeal to ya." Daryl walks down the stairs.

"it's not that it doesn't appeal to me, it's just so bland." Jesus responds.

"stop using that word! it's my room and it's staying the way I like it, if you don't like it then you ain't gotta come here." Daryl raises his voice a bit

Jesus takes a step back, "sorry, it's just that I'm used to things being colorful, I'm a colorful person, I didn't mean to offend you, I'm so sorry."

"Yeah, whatever. We should head over to Rick's now." Daryl says and they both leave the house.

The subject was never brought up again.
