"So, Diana, darling..what do you  plan to be once you graduate? "Liam's mother, Linda Thomas-Kerrington, asked me in her acidic voice.We were all setting in the dinning table, eating dinner before the cake.Me, Liam, Andrew, Mira, Chris and surprisingly each of Chris and Mira brought their boyfriend/Girlfriend.So Lora and Joseph were there too.It was indeed a small family party,which was good,since I realized Liam didn't want a very big  party. I wasn't sure though if that is her  voice or if she just hates me..I did presume the tatter was more acceptable though. I mean she smiled more freely to Lora and Jospeh than when she did to me.

"A Designer.."

"A singer...''Me and Liam said at the same time.Liam was the one suggesting the singer thing of course.

Not wanting to embarress him in front of his mom, I rushed to change my answer. ..but so did he.

"A singer.."I said.

"A designer'' He added at the same time as me.

We turned to look at each other and chuckled ever so slightly at what happened.

"I am not sure yet.."I said at the end,  not wanting to confuse things more.

"Well good luck with whatever you choose''She replied not even looking at me, her voice cold.Maybe I was just thinking too much into this and she just acts like that with everyone.

''Thank you..''I said with a tight smile.

I turned to look at Liam and noticed him already frowning at his mother.Now what?  I wondered not in a mood for trouble.But if Liam was frowning at her it means he  knew she isn't acting normal and just being cold in front of me.

Jeez what did I do for her to hate me?  I wondered, she doesn't even know me.She just saw me an hour ago..for the first time.

''So kids what will you do the next week?''Andrew asked to change the subject.

''Tests...''Me,Mira,Chris and Liam all said in the same horrified tone causing Andrew to laugh,and we even got a giggle from Mrs.Kerrington.

''Is that so bad?''She asked and  we all nodded together.

''And I have football matches''Liam said suddenly,like he just remembered.

''And  we have cheerleading too..''I added,in a shocked tone and looked at Mira,who had the same wide eyes as me.

''And I have a laboratory to set on fire..''Chris said ,taking us all by surprise. 

''What ? It was an old bet...something I promised to do..''Chris smirked,explaining to me ,Lora,Joseph and Mira,who was gaping at him.

''Oh yea,that old promise Liam made you make''Andrew laughed and shook his head,and I was surprised that he was okay with his son talking seriously about putting a lab in college on fire.Not that it won't be fun to watch ,but any father would say no and object,right? He should.I wondered then shrugged,none of my business.

''So you actually made him promise such thing?''I asked,turning my head to look at Liam,a wide amused grin on my face.

''Yeah..old thing.few years back''He said,his tone clipped and I couldn't understand why he was suddenly annoyed.Mister moody.My mister moody

"Mother, I am done with the food ,so I will just give, Annie a tour around the villa" Liam said, already getting up and stepping away from the table.

"You should wait till she finishes her food atleast, son.Then you could explore as much you like"Andrew said, then took a big sip of his wine.

Smiling, I got up too and immediately Liam took my hand and held it tight.
