The last thing I had expected on my birthday was for all my friends to  be there.I only expected a sweet dinner with Antone and a romantic night together, but the surprise of seeing Nathan, Olivia, Nora and Leonardo was the best birthday surprise I could've ever dreamed off ; Simply because I had really missed them.

Since college ended and everything had been different, actually things had been different since that day in our apartment when I picked up that small card and made a decision that changed my life.

I would've never thought of making singing my career.I was convinced that I'd be a designer, a great disgner with a known brand, just like Olivia, but that night in my room,  with Nora and Livvie and the scissors in our hands, had changed everything.

I didn't like to remember my first year in college, I had gained so many things that year and lost them all at the end.The second year in college had been hard,  especially with my new career, that I ended up only finishing the second year before quitting.

The first few months of my  new career I was accused by media that I only was known thanks to my father's job and the plane crash I was in, but that soon ended after my very few concerts and interviews, yet that doesn't mean that the first interview was almost a hellish experience.Almost....After all it was the first time for me to kiss Antone.

"I won't go up there, no way.I am going home"I said, looking from the behind the stage to the amount of people sitting and waiting. This was NOT a party at college for sure.

"Hey, easy there.Where is my strong girl?"Said Antone, placing his hands on my shoulders from behind.

It was the end of summer and I was going back to my second year in college in less than a week but I had finally managed to make almost four new songs I made to be known world wide and people were now wanting to know and meet 'The new singer' that  and my schedule included a hundred other interview and concert,i was just hoping to get through this one first.My new manager Emily was quite an amazing person, yet her determination scared me sometimes. I mean, I never took singing that seriously before.

"She's gone with the wind" i said remembering that Antone was waiting for an answer."Jee, that's too many people out there"I murmured then frowned, turning to face him.

He had a small encouraging smile on his face and his eyes were shinning with pride.Antone had been nothing but the perfdct friend all summer long, especially that Nora, Livvie, Leo and Nate had all went abroad for the summer leaving me for my busy schedule.It was a low move from them but in return I made them promise to bring me loads of souvenirs. But even though he was always a friend, two months ago he asked me to go on a date with him..A full romantic I-hope-you-be-my-girlfriend kind of dates..I had agreed and did enjoy it but when he came to drop me off at my new apartment the 'time to kiss goodbye' was awkward and we both agreed to take it slowly, that I wasn't ready yet.After that first date we went on three others but still no kissing, I just didn't know what to do without my subconscious and I had had to lock her away thanks to the bitchy reminders she kept giving me.

"It's just a concert..yes i know it's your first but i am sure you'll rock it"He reassured me with a grin.

I took a deep breath and looked into his dark hazel eyes. "I guess I just need some luck"

"You know I wish you the best luck, Ana"he said and I couldn't help my smile.Antone was always a safe harbor to me, Always reassuring me and making me feel safe.
