A/N:  hey guys, sorry for the delay so here is the chater.

Elena's POV.
'Tell me what?' I asked him before Caroline and Bonnie yelled my name
'I'm coming' I yelled back
'Elena, why dont talk about this tomorrow at the grill, okay?' He said
'Ok,we should get back to caroline and bonnie ' I said. While we were walking, i saw matt glaring at Stefan  and I  whispering something to his friends.
The next day.
   I hate waking up in the morning, I brushed that thought and smiled because Stefan and I are hanging out today to talk about something he didnt want to say at the party last night.
'Elena,Stefan is here'mom yelled from downstairs, Did she just mention Stefan's name?, I ran downstairs to see my parents talking to him
'Good morning honey' mom said while giving dad a cup of tea, I smiled at them and turned my head towards stefan and mouthed 'hey' to him and replied with the same thing,
'We will leave both to get ready for school' dad said going to kitchen with my mum
'Stefan, what is going on?'i asked
'Well, Bonnie said that she drives you to school, so i asked her if i can dribe you to school today' he explained, It's cute and amazing that stefan wants to me to school
'Thanks,give me few minutes and i will be right back' i said touching his hand before going up to my room to get ready.
After 5 minutes, i came downstairs
'Come on, let's go' i said while he nodded and opened the passenger's door for me,
'Thank you but you don't have to' i said
'Dont worry, i like  doing it' he said closing the door, he entered inside the car and drove to school. We got to school and went to English class together.
      During lunch.
Stefan's POV.
  I was going to the cafetaria for lunch with  Klaus （BTW. Klaus is stefan's friend in this story) when someone pushed me from behind
'What the hell?' I said turning around to see the person that pushed me and I saw th one and only Matt Donovan
'Seriously matt!'klaus yelled
'Shut up klaus' matt said and turned to me
'Well…well…well…if it isnt Stefan Salvatore who stole my girlfriend from me!'he said grinning
'Matt, i didnt take Elena from you, She dumped your ass' i said
He laughed then punched me, i didnt hestitate to punch him right back.
Klaus was trying to seperate us but we didnt stop until Mrs. Campbell came to seperate us and took us to the principal's  office.
'So would one of you like to explain what happened?!' She shouted
'Well, I was going to the cafetaria with klaus when Matt pushed me, he started all these random stuff then  punched me and i punched him back that's why we are here with blood on our faces' i explained
'Is that true, Mr. Donovan?' She asked matt, he nodded
'Well in that case, Both of you have detention' she said
'What?…sorry ma but i cant have detention' i said
'Why not?' She asked
'I promised a friend that i will meet her at the grill to talk' i explained to her
'Thats not my problem Mr. Salvatore' she said with no emotion while Matt was laughing and said
'Sucks to be you' he said
'I will see both of you after school, okay?' We nodded and left her office.
Elena came up to us and pushed Matt, i was confused but smiling
'Why would you push him, Matt?!' She yelled at him but not too loud
'He deserved it Elena, he took you away from me' he said
'You still dont get it, do you?' She asked
'No, you see that is the problem Elena' he replied
'Matt, we are not together and stay away from my friends and I, okay?'she said, he wanted to protest but instead he just nodded and left Elena and I alone in the hallway. 
'I am so sorry for what Matt did to you' she apologized
'

Its okay, he was just being a jerk' I said touching her shoulder, she smiled and asked
'Are we still meeting at the grill after school?'
'I am sorry but i cant' i said
'Why not?' She asked with sad look
'Matt and I have detention after school'
'Thanks matt' she said sacastic, we laughed
' I have an idea' I said smiling
' what?'
'After my detention, i will meet you at the grill'
'Okay, see you stefan' she said leaving
'See you Elena'.
After detention.
  I just finished my detention for 2 hours with Matt, I checked my phone and saw a message from Elena. 
  Elena: Call me when your detention is over.
I immediately call her.
The phone call.
Elena: hello

Stefan: hey Elena, I saw your message
Elena: how was detention?

Stefan: it was horrible,Mrs. Campbell kept talking about her cats throughout the whole detention.

Elena:Well, that is Mrs. Campbell for you.Where are you heading to?

Stefan: I am actually heading to the grill to meet you so we can talk

Elena: I will see you there in 10 minutes

Stefan: okay, see you in 10.
End of phone call.

Elena's POV.
   I entered the grill and saw stefan sitting fown talking to someone on his phone, i went straight up to him and said hey and sat down. He hung up and replied with hi amd smiled.The waitress asked for our order, we told her our order and she went away to get it.
'I wanted to ask you this question this morning at my house but i forgot' I said
'And what will that be?, beautiful' he asked flirtly, I was blushing until the waitress brought our drinks and asked
'Are you a couple?'
'No, we are just friends' i said, i just wish we could be more than friends, I dont want to pushy and mess it for both of us just yet
'Okay then,enjoy' she said leaving us
'She is nice' he said
'Yeah, she is'
'Back to our discussion' i said
'Okay continue' he said taking a sip from his drink
'When you came this morning, i saw you and my parents talking like you knew eachother, so what is the dtory behind it?'
'This is what we came to talk about'
'What do you mean?'
'When we first met wasn't in school Elena'
'Then where was it?'
'The day your car drove off the bring into the lake' he said, i closed my mouth with tears on my face
'How can it be?'
'I was going home that  day when i heard the accident'
'My parents never told me this psrt of the story'
'I told them not tell you that i was the one who saved you that day'
'Why?'
'Because i didnt want you to have more things to deal with until you recover'
'Wow… I dont know what to say'
'You dont have to say anything but that was the reason your parents welcomed me into their home'
'Thank you very much for saving my life'
'You are welcome'.
I checked the time and saw it was time for my curfew.
'Oh my. Stefan, its time for my curfew' i said standing up to pack my bag
' okay, i will pay and we will leave'he said removing money from his pocket and dropped it on the table. Actually, I didnt bring my car so Stefan drove me home.
'Thank you for the ride and for saving my life' i said looking for my keys, finally i found them
'You dont need thank me Elena,okay?' He said. We were gazing into eachothers eyes for like a minute until Stefan started leaning in slowly and kissed my lips. It lasted for few minutes until my dad switched on the doorways's light .
'Thats my dad waiting up for me, sorry ' i said embarrassed 
'Its okay, I will see you tomorrow'he said smiling
'Good night Stefan ' i said
'Good night Elena' he said entering his car and drove off.

A/N: I am so sorry guys that i didnt update earlier,i got occupied with school that i couldn't update. I promise to update the next chaptet as soon as possible. Hope you like this chapter. Love you all.
