Elena's POV.
I woke up at exactly six o'clock. I sat up and yawned . Then i thought about Stefan and how the dinner and meeting with Stefan's family had gone so well . And then it struck me .
Stefan was my boyfriend!!.
The thought of him alone made me glow inside.
I got out of the bed and headed to the shower. After showering, I quickly dressed into a red shirt, and black jeans with my favorite black sneakers . I brushed my hair and let it run down my back . Then i added a light touch of makeup to my face, then i grabbed my bag and headed downstairs .
I met my entire family at the table eating breakfast.
'Good morning , everyone!'
Jeremy glanced up and grinned at me 'Good morning to you, I wonder when you were going to get up'
I ruffled his hair playfully 'Hey!!' He yelled , I laughed and settled into a chair beside him. My mom glanced at me 'Morning honey, Stefan called'
My heart skipped a beat 'He did?' I asked eating my food
My dad nodded and said 'He called to know whether he could come over to pick you up, We told him it was alright '
I beamed shyly 'Thanks' I said simply, but my heart was pounding in my chest .
Jeremy's head popped at that 'Hey, you are suppose to drop me off, Elena!!'
'Why don' t you take a bus to school!' I said laughing, i wanted to see how jeremy would react
'What?!.Mom…… Dad… tell her ' he said looking shocked
'Just kidding, Stefan could drop you off'
Jeremy nodded 'wow. Its hard to believe you guys are a couple now'
'I know , I cant believe it either' I agreed I was just finishing my meal when i heard the doorbell ring.
'That must be him' I jumped off my chair 'I'll get it' I headed for the door and pulled it open 'Hey Stefan'
'Hey Elena,' he replied beaming at me , He loooked handsome in that black jeans and grey top .
He kissed my cheek, I blused .
'Hello Stefan' my mom said entering
'Hi, Mrs Gilbert ' he said shaking her hand
'Pls call me Miranda, okay?' She said while he nodded
'We need to get going' I said grabbing me my bag
'Jeremy is coming with us'
'Ok, lets go' he said .
At school.
We just pulled up at the front of the school, jeremy was fast to get out of the car and yelled 'see you later , guys' . Stefan came down to open the door for me. I thought what a gentleman he is . 'Thank you'
'You're welcome '
' lets go' he said holding my hand , i looked down at our hands and smiled
Matt's POV.
While throwing balls with my team member , I saw Elena and Stefan holding hands and talking
'Ohhh. Someone is jelly' Tyler said
'Shut up , ty' I responded
'Elena and her new boyfriend are walking right up to the sunset '
'What do you want me to do?, she made her choice ' I asked
'Let her know the wrong one' he said catching the ball and aiming at stefan
'Matt, dont !' I yelled
But he already had thrown the ball with full force.
Elena's POV.
While Stefan and I were talking , he turned facing me but I saw a ball coming towards stefan . My eyes widened and I half whispered
'Stefan , Ball !'
He seemed confused but turned around to catch the ball . The force moved him back a little . He laughed and threw it back to Tyler with the same force.
Tyler fell while everyone laughed . We went inside the school.
I saw how Stefan was with the ball out side . So i thought why not tell him to join the school football team , 'Hey, why dont you try out for the team?' I asked as we stopped at my locker
'I dont think so' he said
'Come on , our team sucks ' I added 'They could really use you '
'They have Matt and Tyler' He said looking for an excuse not to join
I saw klaus coming towards us , i waved at him
'Hey klaus' I said while they shook hands
'Hey Elena ' he said ,
I changed the subject by asking
'Klaus , have you ever thought of joining the football team'
'I mean yes, but i want Stefan to join too. Why do you ask?' He replied
' Tyler threw a ball at Stefan outside but Stefan caught and i told him to join because our team sucks ' I said while klaus laughed
'Hope you threw it back the old style? , man ' he asked Stefan
Stefan laughed and said 'yes, he fell '
'Now, will you two join the team ?' I asked
'Yes, we will' they said together while I smiled and kissed Stefan's cheek
' What am i missing ?' Klaus asked confused
' what do you mean?' Stefan asked
'Are you guys dating?' A voice asked from behind me . I turned around to see caroline and bonnie
'Sorry i didnt tell you guys but yes ' I said
Bonnie and Caroline squealed in excitement while Klaus patted Stefan's back
I saw Matt giving me dirty looks , i shrugged it off and faced my friends. Stefan kissed me passionately, I blushed covering my face but Stefan removed my hands from my face and whispered 'you are cute when you do that ' , I blushed harder .
The bell rang ,Since its all of us that are history together, we went to class together .
After school.
During gym class.
Stefan's POV.
It was time for sport, klaus and I went to the field where football practice is going on .
I saw the coach and gave him the letter we collected from the principal. He read it and told us to change . I heard Matt and Tyler talking
'First, my girlfriend and now the team' Matt said
'Dude, this is an opportunity' Tyler said laughing .
I knew that joining the team would be pretty hard since Tyler and Matt are the captains , I put that thought aside and played
'Set, hut, go!!' Matt yelled , I nodded and went to get the ball .
At the end of the practice , we scored 13-2 . Tyler was pissed off and came to me
'Salvatore, you need to back off or you will regret it !' He yelled
'Is that suppose to be a threat?' I asked know it was a threat but i am not going to back off so easy .
'Do you want find out?' A guy behind him said
I was getting angry but Klaus touched my shoulder to give me an assuring nod not to .
'I wouldn't try a third if i were you ' i said . He growled and left .
'Thanks man from stopping me' I said as we were walking inside the boys room
'Thats what friends do' he said . I nodded .
After football pratice, i saw Elena walking towards klaus and I .
'Hi ' I whispered and kissed her cheek
'Hi' she whispered back and added 'How was pratice?'
'It was great, nothing much to say ' I replied
'Hey man, I am gonna leave you two' klaus said
'Okay, see you tomorrow' I said
'Bye Elena' He yelled
'Bye Klaus ' She yelled back .
'Are you ready?' I asked
'Yeah' She said
We went to my car , I drove Elena home since i was the one that brought her to school. I gunned the engine amd drove to her house .
At Elena's house.
I was walking Elena to her front door, when i remembered what i wanted to ask her .
'Elena, would like to go on a date with me?' I asked ' An official first date without parents or brothers , what do you say?'
' I would love to ' She beamed
' How about tomorrow at 7?'
'Perfect '
'See you tomorrow '
' bye Stefan '
'Bye Elena'
We kissed , she pulled away and waved .
I went to my car and drove home.
