Stefan's POV.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I slowly sat up, I am not actually a morning person but this morning seemed different and felt a little special.
Last night,
Elena,
That kiss.
Gosh, that kiss felt so good!.
I have never kissed any girl the way i did to Elena. I could not stop thinking about the kiss or her either.
Elena had looked very beautiful last night with her brown locks glowing down her back and her bright brown eyes.
I jumped out of my bed . The thought of her soft warm lips on mine made a shiver of delight run down my back.
I wanted to see her again . I needed to see her again
I rushed into the bathroom and showered , then got dressed and zoomed out of my room.
I met my mom downstairs. 'Good morning , mom' I leaned over and kissed her gently on her cheek. She seemed suprised but pleased 'Good morning, stefan' . 'You are in a good mood today' she said. I hadnt realized i had been smiling , 'Am I ?, I didnt notice '
'Hah, hah' she said nudging me at my own lame joke 'But honestly Stefan, I assume that huge smile on your face has something to do with certain something you told me about recently' she said. Then she leaned closer and whispered 'or a certain someone ' .
I felt my face turn red 'I'm not sure about what you are talking about, mom' I said nervoisly, she shook her head, obvioisly not believing my lie. ' Did something happen between you and Elena last night?' She asked
She had me cornered.
Heck , she knew me so well!!!. I sighed 'fine' i said reluctantly. 'Now , dont get mad, but i sort of , kissed Elena last night'
Her face lit up instantly,
'Wow, i had a feeling that you will kiss her. I just knew it' she said
I was confused ' you knew what?'
'I knew you are inlove with Elena!' She exclaimed .
My two brothers Damon and Daniel ( A/N- Stefan has a younger brother in this story ) were just running down the stairs when she said that. 'Who is in love with who, mom ?' Damon asked her
My mom gleamed with mischief 'Stefan is in love with a girl called Elena' she said
Oh no!.
My brothers turned to me with mischievous smiles and I knew what was coming .
'Stefan's got a girlfriend!' They sang gleefully.
'Hey, will you stop!'i yelled over their voices, shushing them fir a minute while my mom was laughing 'she is not my girlfriend' ,' yet' I added inwardly.
'What do you mean, she is not your girl friend yet?' Danny asked confused
'I havent asked her yet and i dont know if she will accept me to be her boyfriend' i said
'But she happens to be your love interest, right?'Damon asked
'Yeah. She is' i said
'Then she will accept ' Damon saidi, nodded
I wasnt ashamed of my feelinhs fir Elena but my family knowing about it soon made me feel awkward ' So when do we get to meet het?' Damon asked suddenly making me come out of my thoughts
'We?' I repeated
'Yeah, she must be extremely beautiful to catch your fancy look and ‥... '
'Hold on a sec,' i interupted Damon. 'What do you mean by , ' when do we get to meet her?'
Danny raised an eyebrow ' Dude , we do get to meet her right?, after all, she is your girlfriend ' 'yet' he said air quoting the last word.
'Not yet?' My mom exclaimed 'Well, we have got to fix that '
'We only kissed last night , nothing serious has happened yet' i said
'Oooh!, you guys kissed last night ' Daniel nudged me playfully 'What was it like?'
'Dont you have school' i said 'And also, that's none of your business, danny'
He frowned his face and went to get prepared for school
'What we should worry about is getting Stefan and Elena together' Damon said changing the subject
'Wait, I'm a bit lost here. This isnt exactly a'we' affair. I just want it to be a ' me and Elena affair' I ask her out and ask to be my girlfriend'.
'Nah'Damon said at once . 'Its too cheesy, too obvious. Do something a little different '
Mom nodded 'Damon's right, stefan' she looked thoughtful for a second , then her face lit up 'why not invite her and her family for dinner tonight? , You ask her to be your girlfriend in private and very romantic, you will make it official ' Damon said
I beamed 'That could work'
'It better' Damon mumbled
'Of course it would ' Mom said obviously hearing Damon's mumble. 'There is no way that plan could fail'
'What plan?'
We all turned yowards the voice. It was my dad , already dresssed and ready fir work. He gazed at me and damon, then my mom then asked 'whats going on here?'
I glanced nervously at my mom. In my excitement to hit things off with Elena and her family, I had forgotten about what Dad would think about it . It wasnt like he was against me dating , but the last girl i dated hadnt exactly met his standards, I was worried my dad might not approve of Elena.
'Honey, Can Stefan's new girlfriend Elena and her family come for dinner tonight' Mom asked, i was nervous that he might reject it but to my suprise he accepted
'Yeah, I finally want to meet the girl, you all have being talking about ' he replied
'Thanks dad, but how did you know we were talking about her?' I asked
'I asked Danny what you all were talking about' he said . 'Thanks Danny for making it easier for me'i thought .
'Come on, lets eat breakfast and tell me more about your girlfriend' Dad said putting his hand around Mom waist.
