             Few days later.
Elena's POV.
   It has been 3 days since Stefan's parents death and Today is their funeral.  
        Stefan and I barely talk since all vtjis happened but I understand. Caroline told me to give him some space and time to recover… I mean i agree with her, it's just … i miss him so much but I have to put Stefan's privacy first.
   My parents are going to the church but  Caroline and Klaus are coming to pick me up because we are going first to Stefan's house before we go to the church together. I heard the honk from my room, i went to outside to find Caroline and klaus waiting for me. I entered the car.
'Hi guys'  I said
'Hey Elena'They said in unison . I laughed as klaus drove the car.

At the Salvatores house.
   We just pulled up at their driveway. We came down and walked to the door. I knocked… no answer. I looked at Caroline, she said 'Try again' . I nodded.
I knocked again… still no answer but fortunately the door was unlocked. We entered , It was so quiet that i could hear  the sound of my heartbeat.
'I will check Stefan in his room while you check for Daniel and Damon in their rooms… okay?' I asked. They nodded leaving me . I walked to Stefan's room,  revealing him fixing his tie while looking at the mirror. I walked in but he has seen me through the mirror.
'Hi' I said touching his shoulder .
'Hey' He said but he was struggling trying to knot his tie so i decided to step in front of him to help him.
   I finished knotting the tie for him as i was about to remove my hands from his chest, he put it back 'Don't' he said, so i placed my hands back.
'I missed you' He whispered, I looked up  to see  his green eyes staring at my hazel eyes.
'I missed you too… so much' I said . He put his hands on my cheek amd kissed my forehead. I felt the butterflies in my stomach as he kissed me . I miss him so damn much .
' … And I am sorry for … what i did' he said
'You didnt do anything, Stefan. You just needed time and… space and i get it. ' he glanced away but i put his face right back.
'It's not your fault,okay?' I asked, he nodded rubbing my hands that are on his face.
' I love you' he said. I have been waiting for a long time to hear those three precious words come out of his mouth and it finally came out.
'Tell me when this night is over… okay ?' I beamed. He nodded enthusiastically. He kissed me again but this time it was on my lips. It lasted for few seconds till we heard another voice in the room . I pulled away to see Damon
'later tonight brother' Damon said walking towards us.
'How are you doing, Damon?' I asked as he walked over to the picture beside the nightstand. It was a picture of Stefan and I on the beach.
'I am okay… you guys look cute together' he replied.
'Ohh , thats reminds me' Stefan said, I turned around to see him holding  a black box in his hand. I was confused until he opened it revealing a silver bracelet with S. E inscribed on it.
              It was beautiful. 
' Can I?' He asked. I nodded enthusiastically as he removed it from the box and putting around my wrist. I looked at it, I felt a drop of tears on my wrist , Thank God, I wore waterproof eyepencil today or else i would have looked like a mess infront of Stefan.
    He noticed my tears and wiped it away with his handkerchief from his jacket.
'What's wrong?…  You dont like the bracelet?' He asked in panicked tone.
'I love it and these are happy tears' I said  
'I am glad you li… ' he said but was cut off by damon saying 'I told you, she will like it'
'I love it and Thank you so much'I said kissing his lips
'Agh!' Damon groaned loudly. I pulled away and laughed  .
'Thanks bro' Stefan told Damon hugging him. While i smiled at him .
'You are welcome. Come on, we are going to be late ' Damon said dragging us out of the room .
   We left the house and drove the church for the funeral.
 
After the funeral.
'Bye Mom and Dad' I yelled as they entered their car. Stefan asked me to sleepover tonight and i couldnt deny it so I said yes.
   Since Stefan was the one that drove me here with his car so he will be the one that will take me back to his house.
   We pulled at his driveway, I was about to open the door but Stefan told me to 'wait', so i did . He came over to my side to open the door for me. I beamed 'Thank you, Mr Salvatore'
'You are welcome , Miss Gilbert' he said smiling.
  We walked inside, since everyone went out after the funeral and stefan and I came home straight because he said he wants to spend more time with me.
    I went to Stefan's room to change to something comfortable than this dress. I came out of the bathroom to see Stefan removing his shirt . I was staring … not just staring but mesmerize his body. It took him a minute to notice me.
'Like the view ' he teased walking close to me making it two centimeters away from our bodies touching . I could feel his breathe touching me. I touched his neck tracing it down his body until he stopped me . I looked up as he smashed his lips on mine. I was caught by suprise but i kissed him back . He carried me to his bed still kissing. I fell on the bed laughing as he continued kissing me .
'I love you 'i managed to say in between the kisses.
He pulled away for a second to reply'I love you more'
   He was kissing my neck making it very hard for me to say anything but i still made up some words .
'Notttt posssssibbbblllle '  I stammered .
'Very much possible ' he pulled away looking at me with the cutest smile that i have missed.
'Show me how much you love me!'

    A/N- Nothing much , it is a bit cheesy of Elena to say that. ❤💕💏💯Duh!!!
