Three Days later.
Elena's POV.
It has been three days since I gave birth to the twins and today is the day we are going home.
The excitment in me because I cant wait for the twins to see their new home .
I havent fully recovered but since the twins are healthy and they said we could go home anytime we want .
I was getting ready in the bathroom while Stefan and Damon were getting the twins and everything ready for us to leave.
We were walking towards the car when James called out our names.
'Sorry to stop you guys but i need to talk to Stefan' James said trying to catch his breath from running . I smiled looking at Stefan , as he nodded at James. He gave Damon the Car keys so that he could put the twins in the car .
I sat at the back with the twins gazing at them when Stefan entered the car.
'Hey' he said smiling.
I replied with the same thing as he gunned the engine.
It took us half an hour to get home, the car ride was filled with funny conservations between the three of us .
We just pulled up at our driveway ,I was about to get down from the car but I felt a sharp pain at my side which made me lay back down .
I turned to see Stefan beside my side of the car and Damon beside the twins side . Since i am still in pain but I tried to hide it from Stefan becuase he will get worried but he noticed it when he touched me before i could regain y balance again.
'Are you okay?, baby' he asked with a worried expression on his face. I dont want him to be worried about me everytime I am in pain .
So I lied well tried to but he could see right through me .
'I will be fine , it just a little pain . Okay?' I replied to assure him . He nodded and helped me out of the car .
Stefan held my hand with one hand and Daphne's car seat with other hand while Damon carried Deven's car seat , as we were walking towards the door .
We opened the door, stepped in and there we saw the whole family with banners , ballons and wrapped gifts.
'SUPRISE. '
They half shouted and half whispered because of little bundles that are in their car seat sleeping . I had to admit , I was suprised by this . I wasnt expecting anyone to turn up . Even my aunt Jenna and her boyfriend are here I thought they wouldnt be able to come because they lived in Florida and I am happy that they made an effort to come even though that they were not there during the delivery but they came .
I spent few minutes hugging and greeting everyone , after hugging everyone, I went back to Stefan grasp as Jenna walked towards us gazing down at the car seat that Stefan is carrying.
'Oh my…. She is so cute!' She gushed . I smiled and asked
'Do you want to hold her?'
'Yes' She said with a laugh. I turned to the car seat to carry Daphne in my arms. I gently passed her to Jenna .
Stefan wrapped his arm around me comfortably . I havent really seen much of everyone but it was nice to catch up .
After catching up with eveyone , Jenna and her boyfriend left earlier since she has to catch a plane back to Florida first then everybody later.
We took the twins to their room then headed downstairs to cook dinner , since I am craving for brownies so bad since i have being in the hospital thats why we decided to eat it for dinner. I can barely bake and still sore , Stefan told me sit down , I tried to protest but it was no use .
While walking back to the living room , my feet were dangling . I needed to sit down because i am still weak but before i knew it Stefan was already beside me holding me so i dont fall .
'You should be laying down and resting ' he ushers me to the couch and kissed me forehead.
'I know but …. 'I tried to say but was cut off by Stefan
'But nothing , lay down while i get the brownies ' He said . I nodded while he went to kitchen .
While eating the brownies , we were also watching ' Jurassic World' too .
We just finished the brownies, I was about to stand and take the plate to the kitchen but Stefan's hand stopped me from standing up.
'I will take it, Dont worry about doing anything ' He said poking my nose.
I laugh at his compassion towards me. He always put me forward and I love that about him. I love him with all my heart and so happy to start our lives together being a parent of our two adorable twins .
I was watching the movie alone. Before I knew it my eyes were dropping and everything were becoming blurry .
'Hey baby' I heard with a kiss on my forehead. I opened my eyes able enough to see his face .
'Its 11:00 . We should head to bed now, okay?' He asked . I let out a yawn and nodded. He helps me up the stairs , we went to the nursery to check the kids.
I got weak in the knees about to fall but I
felt hands around me. My eyes flutter open to see Stefan carrying me. I wrapped my arms around him tight and he carries me to bed , placing me down gently .
'I love you so much Elena' he whispers in my ear .
'I love you more' I managed to mumble out before loosing consciousness again and drifting into a well needed deep sleep in my bed.
Stefan's POV.
I have been staring at the way she was sleeping for a long time . This woman is the best thing that has ever happened to me and giving me adorable kids…. I cant thank her enough but i will spend the rest of my life to do it . I cant wait to make her my wife .
I snuggled close to her ,as she put her head on my chest .
Unknown's POV.
Phone call.
The plan is in motion.
End of phone call.
