"Ooff"

I was woken by the van driving over a pothole making me jump. When I jumped I hit a sleeping Ethan on the head with mine. Ethan didn't wake up so I decided not to worry about it. I was still tired and not thinking clearly. I had my hand on Ethans leg and his hand was on top of mine. It took me a minute to process what was happening I pulled my hand back quickly. I didn't want to be touching Ethan anymore and I definitely didn't want to fall back asleep because of where our hands ended up. I took head off of Ethans shoulder. It was easy because when I hit him he moved his head to lean against the window. I adjusted myself and sat up straight. Graysons head was still on my shoulder but I didn't mind because I didn't put my hand on his leg like I did Ethan.

Stupid, stupid, stupid I thought.

I decided not to think about it anymore. There was no point. Plus it wasn't that serious. Was it? All I did was touch his leg while I was sleeping. I didn't even know I was going to do that.

I was taken out of my thoughts when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to see I had a text message from Betty.

Betty❤: How's the trip so far?

Why was she asking already it hasn't been that long since the last time I texted her. I looked at the time and mentally cursed at myself. Four hours. I slept for four hours. How was I even that tired?

Me: Oh yea it's been good. All I've done is sleep.

Betty❤: That's all you've done? You've been gone for 4 hours.

Me: Ik... I don't know how I slept that long. I fell asleep after like 15 minutes of driving.

Betty❤: Lena you're going to mess up your sleep schedule.
I laughed when I read that. She was right. I really would mess up my sleeping schedule.

Me: I know. But guess what!

Betty❤: What??

Me: Ethan and Grayson are still sleeping. Of course I don't know when they fell asleep but when I fell asleep Ethan was had his head on mine and Grayson was leaning on my shoulders.

Betty❤: You guys are going to have the hardest time going to sleep after your road trip.
Before I could write a response the car came to a stop and Cameron jumped out of the car. Lisa and Sean opened their doors to get out.

"We're stopping to get a snack and use the bathroom" Cameron said to me peeking her head inside the van.
"Okay" I said.
"Wake the twins up please" she asked. I nodded.
I started to shake Ethan but he wouldn't wake up. Then I started shaking Grayson and he wouldn't wake up.

"Hmph" I sighed leaning back in my seat.
"Okay one more try" I said to myself.

I started shaking Ethan and Grayson intensely.

"WAKE UP" I shouted at the twins.
Grayson started coming in and out of consciousness. I decide to focus on Grayson since he was waking up.
I shook him forcefully.
"We're getting food" I yelled at him.
That woke him up. His eyes shot open.
"Really" He asked.
I couldn't help but laugh. He reminded me of a kid about to get candy.
"Yea go with everyone else and I'll figure out how to get him up" I said pointing to Ethan.
"That's going to be difficult" Grayson said laughing.
"Nooo... Really?" I said sarcastically.
Grayson started laughing.
"If you need help you know where to find me" Grayson said with laughter bubbling in his voice. I nodded and with that Grayson was gone.
I looked over at Ethan trying to decide on what to do. He had his mouth wide open and was snoring a bit. It was actually quite funny.
I decided to shake him more but it didn't work.
"Oh. My. Gosh." I said getting frustrated. How is he not awake yet.
I decide to unbuckle his seat belt and start pulling him. He finally woke up with a confused look on his face. He looked like a lost puppy.
"Finnaly" I said dragging out the y.
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"We're getting food and I was in charge of waking you up" I told Ethan. "It was not fun" Ethans confused look faded away and turned into a smile. Laughter started pouring out of him. He closed his eyes and threw his head back. His nose flarred a little when he laughed. This then made me laugh.
"Yea I've been told it's hard to wake me up" he said in between laughs. Our laughs and giggle faded.
"Huh I wonder why" I asked.

Me and Ethan got out of the van and walked into the store. Lisa, Grayson, Sean, and Cameron were waiting for us.

"Oh my goodness new record" Grayson shouted.
"No one can wake him up that fast" Cameron said shocked.
"Fast?? That took like five minutes" I said giggling.
"That's fast for him" Lisa said reassuringly. Soon enough everyone was laughing including Ethan.

"Why don't you get a candy bar or a bag of chips" Sean said to us.
"Get a drink also and don't forget to use the bathroom" Lisa added
Everyone nodded. I headed to the isle where the chips were. I grabbed some Cheetos from off the shelf. Mostly because it was the first thing I saw. Then I went to get a drink. I must not of been paying attention because I ran into one of the glass doors.
"Ooff" I said falling backwards landing on my butt.
I heard a laugh. It sounded very familiar. I looked up to see Ethan eyes closed, head thrown back, and nostrils flaring like in the car.
"This is not funny" I mummbled glaring at him.
"No it's not" he said putting a straight face on, "Its hilarious" he continued bursting out laughing.

He held his hand out to me and I grabbed it. Ethan pulled me up easily. I continued to glare at him until he stopped laughing.
"Are you done" I asked
"Yup. Yea. I'm done" he said I could still hear the laughter in his voice.

"Maybe you should watch where your going next time" he said.
A faint smile appeared on my face but I rolled my eyes and pushed him out of the way.
"Woah now hold your horses" Ethan said grabbing my wrist.
"Hold your horses" I reapeted
"Do people even say that anymore" I asked sarcaticly
"Where are you going" he asked ignoring my question.
"I'm getting a drink" I said in a 'duh' voice.
"Well who am I to stop you" he said bowing with his arms out gesturing towards the drinks. I walked passed him and opened one of the see through doors. Ethan ran into the door on purpose and fell backwards.
"Ooff" he said mocking me.
"Golly that hurt" he said chuckling.
I looked at him and rolled my eyes. I grabbed a drink and closed the door. I walked around Ethan not wanting to incourage his behavior. I headed to Cameron and asked her to watch my food while I went to the bathroom.
"You act like someones going to steal it" she said giggling
"Can't take any chances" I answered with a smile and headed towards the bathroom.

Ethans P.O.V:
Lena walked away leaving me all alone.
"What are you doing bro" I heard an all to familiar voice ask behind me. O turned around to see Grayson just like I expected.
"I'm sitting down on the ground" I said in a 'duh' tone.
"Really I had no idea" Grayson said sarcastically. I stood up and rolled my eyes at him.
"I mean why" He said
"It's a long story I gotta pee I'll be back" I said hurrying to the bathroom.
I did my thing and walked out to feel someone running into me. I looked down and couldn't believe who I saw. Lena was standing in front of me. She had just walked out of the girls restroom. I chuckled and said
"You need to stop doing this" Lena looked up at me and her cheeks became red. I couldn't contain my laughter.
"Oh don't be embarrassed" I said in between laughs
"N-no" she said quietly. I was still laughing.

Lenas P.O.V:

Omg I just ran into Ethan. I wasn't paying any attention. I walked out of the bathroom and BOOM there he was. This just happened not even five minutes ago and then I did it again.

I was taken out of my thought to hear Ethan say
"Oh don't be embarrassed" he was laughing. He was laughing hard with his head back, his eyes, and his nose flaring sometimes.
I'm not gonna lie I hated the situation we were in but I honestly loved his laugh.
"N-no" I nearly whispered.
Ethan continued to laugh. I just decided to walk away and get my food that Cameron was watching. As I walked off I could still hear Ethan laughing in that same spot. I chuckled to myself.
"Hey I gave mom and dad your food they bought everything already" I heard Cameron say.
"Okay thanks for letting me know" I said. She smiled at me.
"So what's so funny" she asked. I looked at her confused and I guess she could tell. She gestured towards Ethan with her head.
"Ohhh" I said realising what she meant.
"I ran into him and earlier I ran into one of those glass doors that he was holding open. He said I had to stop doing that" I continued. Cameron started laughing but not nearly and loud or hard as Ethan had. I couldn't hear Ethan laughing anymore so I guess he was outside or just stopped laughing.
"Oh my gosh Lena that's great" she said obviously humored by my clumsiness.
"Yea I know" I said sarcastically.
"We should get to the van everyone is probably waiting for us" I continued.
"Okay" she said and with that we left.
