Yes or No?

chapter 2

Lilly takes us through the crowed of people and we end up in the dancing area. Lilly,Lizzy and I start dancing and talking.

" hey look at that guy over there." Lizzy says pointing to a tall guy with black hair that cover his eyes.

"You can have him" I tell her, " He's cute but not my type" i say with a smirk.

"all right! I didn't want to share anyways, hes mine" Lizzy jokes.

Lizzy and I both look at Lilly, who's staring at a guy named Matt that is in our science class. He's medium height, blond hair, and dark blue eyes.

" Lilly, you should go talk to him." Lizzy exclaimed.

"What!?! Oh, well i dunno, maybe, but he looks busy and I'm shy and..."

" just go, He does not look busy and I know hes single, plus you stare at him in science class." I interrupt.

"okay, i'll go" Lilly says starting her way to him. Then about halfway there she turns around and says" I can't do it."  I walk towards her and begin pushing.

"Your almost there, you can goo on yourself now. you can do it!"  I say only 10 feet away from him.

I turn around and walk back to Lizzy who is dancing with a guy. I flash a smile at her and she smiles widely. My job is done! but now I feel lonely all the sudden. Just stop, I don't need a guy. I walk around looking stupid and deep in thought.Who am I kidding I really want a guy. I'm lonely and love sick.

 I go to the bathroom and fix up some make-up. then i stare at myself in the mirror. " I do want somebody to love. But doesn't every girl want that?"

I Finnish up and walk out. I go and get some fruit punch and think of my Dad who is probably really pissed off about me going. I don't care. I grab my cup and open the kitchen door and run right into someone, spilling my drink.

" I am so sorry, I didn't mean to. Here let me get a towel." I apologize

" no no, its okay, I'm not that wet It was my fault for not looking." 

I look up to my victim i have just ran into. His eyes are so beautiful. the're bright green with a swirl of dark green in them. they are so unique and beautiful I cant stop looking.

" My names Nathan." he says holding out a hand.

" Jane" I say grabbing his hand. Its so soft and gentle yet strong. sparks fly up through my body. I never want to let go.But I do.

" That's a beautiful name." Nathan says with a wonderful smile that can make anyone's stomach explode with butterflies.

" thank you." I mumble still filled with sparks and butterflies.

" Here let me get you a new drink." Nathan says heading for the kitchen.

" Oh,no that's okay I don't need one."

" all right, then can I dance with you to say sorry." he offers

" you don't need to say sorry it was my fault. But i would love to dance." I smile so big when he grabs me and takes me to the dance floor. 

We dance to a slow song. He is so cute and very nice. And those eyes I love so much.

" so do you go to our school? " I ask wondering because I haven't seen him.

" Yeah, I'm a Junior. But I haven't seen you or at least noticed." Nathan explains

" whats your homeroom?" I ask.

" Mr. Jones."

"oh, I have Mrs. white." I tell him.

" well i'll be looking for you. maybe we could get together for a date?"Nathan asks. I smile and blush, though I don't know why.

"sure, when?"

"Sunday, 7:00 i'll pick you up."

"okay." i say writing down my address and phone number on his hand.

" see you soon Jane." I love his smile and the way he says my name. Then he walks off. I feel so happy. Even the sparks are still there going through my body like crazy.
