Yes or No?

Chapter 18

I guess this was all a mistake.

Falling in love and having feelings for someone. I should've known I would've gotten hurt.

I was back home and in my bed. Still broken hearted. I've gotten many calls and texts from Nathan saying we need to talk, but I never replied or answered him. I avoided him because just thinking about him made me think of how much I loved him how much I still love him, how much it hurt me to see him do such a thing. I just dont understand. I begin to cry once again.

It hurt so much I could'nt bare it. Be heart broken always seemed bad but I never realized it hurt this much. All I want to do is crawl in a dark hole and die. Thinking no one loves me. But I cant.

My phone buzzes once again and I check to see who its from. Lizzy,

Hey wanna come to the movies with me and the girls?

I quickly text back,

Nah, I still dont feel like doing anything :( sorry

Its okay. see ya later. she replies

Lizzy mentioning the movies reminds me of Jeremy. He said if we dont work out to call him. I did promise didn't I? But I'm not sure if I'm ready for another relationship. This could make it worse. Yet this could be what I need.

I decide to give him a chance.

Ring,ring,ring,

"Hello?" A deep charming voice answers.

" HI. this is Jane..." I say trying to sound happy

" OH! Jane. hi how are you?" He says his voice smiling

" Well I've had better days..." I trail off, feeling a bit awkward.

" Oh, so how are you and your boyfriend?" He asks awkwordly.

" well, um, that's sort of why I wanted to call you. Do you think we can meet some where so we can talk?" I ask

" Sure! how'bout starbucks?"

" Perfect. See you in 10." I say suddenly excited.

" Okay." He says before hanging up.

I soon put on a out fit noticing I 've been in my PJ's the past two days. I slip on a cute summer dress apply some make-up, fix my hair and then I leave all in less than 8 minuets. I get there and head inside and see him sitting at a table. He waves at me and a take a seat in front of him.

" would you like anything?" He asks sweetly.

" No. Im fine thank you." I say being polite.

" Your boyfriends not going to get mad at me is he? I mean for meeting you here?" Jeremy asks.

" um no. He wont. I'm not in a relationship anymore. So I called you because I promised i would if it didnt work out. " I say in a mouth full. Jeremy suddenly perks up and smiles.

" well then, thank you for calling. " He says with a smirk. I cant help but laugh a bit at his crooked smirk and the way he talks. Hes really cute and I do kind of like him. Maybe this wasn't such a bad Idea after all.

" So, would you go out on a date with me? Just one to see. And maybe more after that? I have a big crush on you and your really pretty and..."

" Yes." I say cutting him off. He smiles widely.

" You would?" Jeremy asks reassuring.

I nod and smile," I would" I say.

********************************************** Nathans POV ********************************

Please Jane answer the phone, I think. I sit there trying yet again to call Jane, and explain. I know she saw the video. She came back yesterday and she wont talk to me. NO! this cant happen. I'm falling apart I need her so much. I love her. If only she saw or new what really happened.

 I pase back and fourth trying to figure out what to do. I need to see her in person. I know I'll go to her house.

I quickly grab my keys and head out.

I get to jane's house in no time but I notice her car wasn't there. I decide to park my car a little bit away so she doesnt see it. I go up to the door and knock. Her tall dad answers.

" Why hello Nathan." He says. I try to read his face but I cant pick up any emotion.

" Hi" I say rubbing the back of my neck. " um, Is Jane here?" I ask.

" No, She's out with some guy having coffee. " He says. I cant help but get jealous. She's with another guy? Has she already forgot about me?

" Oh, um can I wait for Her?" I ask shyly.

" Sure come on in." He says moving away and motioning for me to enter. I step in and look around. I never noticed the baby pictures on the wall. She was so cute as a baby. I smile to myself and take a seat on the couch. Mr. Summers says he needs to work on business and is going to leave me here.

" Thats okay." Is all I say.

I just sit there waiting watching the clock.

************************************************** Jane's POV ************************

I drive home feeling good. Jeremy is a really good guy. We talked and talked and had a good time. My date with him is tomorrow at six. I pull into my driveway and walk into the house I began to walk up the stairs when an all to familiar voice stops me.

" Jane, Please let me explain. "
