Yes or No?

chapter 3

On our way home from the party I ask if I can stay the night at Lizzy's place. She says sure .

" thanks, I really don't feel like facing my Dad." I say

" no problem, anytime." Lizzy replies

we drop off Lilly and Maria, then we drive back to Liz's house. She tells me to go up to her room, cause shes gonna find something for us to eat. I walk up the stairs and past her brothers room then into her bedroom.The walls are purple with white and her bed is black with White pillows. I plop down and begin to think about Nathan.

His perfect body, and dark hair. His eyes that are so beautiful. Then I remember our date. I haven't told Lizzy yet. She doesn't even know I ran into a guy. Nope i've kept it to myself so far. I decide to go ahead a tell Lizzy when she gets back. Witch is taking a long time.

She arives with a bowl of strawberries and a bag of chips.

" what took you so long?" i ask

" oh, my mom was talking to me and we got caught up in a conversation."

" does she know I'm here?"

'Yeah, and she knows I went to a party, but she's cool with it."

" cool!" I say as i reach for some strawberries. Then Lizzy goes on about the guy she was dancing with.

" he was so cute and he's a senior. He goes to some other school though." she says

" really, that sucks."

" yeah. but he said i had pretty eyes and that I was really cute."

"Maybe you could hook up with him?" i say. but when she mentioned the pretty eyes it made me think of Nathan again.

" really you think I should?" She asks.

'Yeah you to would look cute."

" Aw thanks Jane. So what about you did you find any guys to flirt with?"

Finally she asks the question i've been waiting for.

"Yes. I ran into a guy and spilled my drink on him."

"nice move" Lizzy says

" hey! well he took the blame then asked me to dance. I said yes then while we were dancing he asked me out!"

"Really!?! OMG what did you say?"

" yes!" I scream so excited. then I tell her that his touch sent sparks flying. she gets really excited then we settle down and put on a movie. We both fall asleep half way through and end up waking up at 11:30 AM. wow I sleep for a long time I think.

Lizzy and I eat breakfast then get dressed and head "out". We both have no clue where we want to go, so we end up at a mall.

We head into a jewelry store first and I bye a pair of earrings. Next was a cloths store. I ended up buying a tank top and some shorts. I'm getting ready for summer. Lizzy buys a summer dress and a pair of flip flops. Then we go to the food court and decide on subway. I get in line with my and Lizzy's money ready. I order both our sandwiches and head to the table were Lizzy's at. I bump into someone on the way. I turn and see some 25 year old lady. Man I have got to stop running into people, I think. " sorry" I tell her. How rude she doesn't even say anything just gives me a snotty look.

"hey got your sandwich." I say handing Lizzy hers.

" thanks!" she says.

" So what do you think of my new dress i bought?" She asks

" cute, are you trying to attract the guy you met at the party?" I ask.

" No I just thought it was really cute. I just Had to get it."

" really, I don't get it with girls and cloths. I'm not that way." I say giving Lizzy a serious look. she laughs at my look and says, " your not good at serious look. We both start laughing.

We finnish and begain to get up when someone comes up to me. I look up to the figure. It's Nathan.

"hey" he says

" hey Nathan, what are you doing here?" I ask

" nothing, just hanging around. I saw you and wanted to say Hi."

" Hi." I say.

" so Jane, is this the one you met at the party?" Lizzy asks

" huh? Oh! yeah, this is Nathan." I say Suddenly  rrealizing Lizzy is there.

" well, I guess I'll see you On Sunday then." Nathan says

" oh, okay see ya." i say turning my head to is attention.

"bye." he says waving. I wave back.

I turn to Lizzy,

" Is'nt he cute, and his eyes?" I say

" yeah, your lucky." Lizzy says

I'm so happy to be able to see him again. I turn and feel so excited for Sunday. We start walking when I notice a man standing and looking at me. His face familiar.

"uh oh," Lizzy says. thinking the same thing I nod my head.
