Yes or No?

Chapter 20

I look at Nathan's face. He's hurt I know but there's also worry in his eyes.

What Nathan does next catches me off guard and im completely shocked.

He leans down and kisses me.

Right there in my room.

I didnt expect it, at all. It was so unpredictable. But I kiss him back. Our kiss is filled with passion and true love. I pull away and glare into nathan's eyes.

" I have a date tomorrow." I say out flatly. Nathan looks at me confused.

I sigh and explain everything to Nathan. From agreeing to Jeremy about calling him if it didnt work to my day with him today. Nathan doesn't respond right away, he just looks at me. I cant read his face though.

" Go" He says

" What?" I ask

" Go on the date. if you have real feelings for him I dont want to hold you back." Nathan says.

Shock. Utter shock. Is what i feel.

Nathan wants me to go on a date with another guy? why? I'm so confused. I look at him raising a questioning eyebrow.

" Look Jane, If were meant to be we'll find our way back together. Whether it takes 2 months or 2 years. I'll be waiting. because one thing I can promise you is that I will never stop loving you." Nathan says and with that he kisses me sweetly on the lips and leaves.

Leaving me alone and left to think about what he said. He's right. Thats how true love works. We will eventally find each other if were meant to be.

And to be honest myself isn't sure what will happen...

Today is my date with Jeremy. We go to the movies. He gets a discount so he thought it would be cool to watch a movie.

I slip on a cute white summer dress that hugs my figure and my curves just right. I pull on some baby blue flip flops and paint my toenails a silvery-blue color. I simply put a thick white Head band and straighten my hair. i apply a thin layer of Make-up. I glance in the mirror and am satisfied. I grab my phone and bag and text Jeremy.

I go down satirs and find my dad sitting on the couch sipping coffee and watching news. I tell him I'm going to the movies and he gives a slight nod.

Jeremy is here soon and he greets me with a smile. I hop into his small Chevy car and we head to the theater.

During the ride we exchange small talk and listen to music. We arrive in no time and are seated in theater 4. We share a popcorn and as I'm reaching for some popcorn my hand lands on his. There's only one thing I can think of,

No sparks.

Not like With Nathan.

And thats when I know. Nathan is the one.

The movie ends soon and were leaving. While driving Jeremy asks,

" So did you like the movie?"

" Yes it was very good." I say looking out the window. " what about you?" I ask

" I liked it, I had a great time." He turns to me and smiles. I look at him and smile back.

"Me too." I say.

Were at my house in less than 15 minuets and we both step out of the car. He walks me up to my door and then we stop.

I turn to face him. He's staring at me with big eyes.

" Your so beautiful." Jeremy says. I cant help but blush.

" Thanks" I mumble.

And then he leans down and kisses me gently. No sparks or butterflies. No Warm loving feeling. I pull away quickly. He looks at me worriedly. I just look down at my feet.

" You still love him dont you." He says Not as a question more as a statement. I dont answer.

" Yes or No?" He asks

I look at him this time and see his face. Its very cute and I can tell he does like me. I hate to be mean.

" Yes." I say felling bad.

" I had a feeling you did. It's okay. I still had a wonderful time." Jeremy says. I look at him a bit confused. It starts to rain.

" Go after him. He's waiting. And thank you." He says. I then understand. Its like he can read my mind I nod my head and say,

" No, thank you. I give him a kiss on the cheek and turn and start running into the rain.

I know ware he is. It's just something telling me he's there. I keep running getting soaked.

I finally reach it and jog through the meadow of flowers were Nathan told me his secret.

And then I see him Just standing there. He turns and sees me. I run faster and jump into his arms hugging him. He hugs me back tight, holding me. I have tears of happiness drizzle down my cheek. Its pouring now but Nathan's so warm I cant feel it.

He kisses me passionately and our lips move in usion. We both pull away breathless. Then Nathan whispers,

" Do you love Me? Yes or No?"

I look into his green eyes knowing my answer.

" Yes"
