An (Un)Suspected Visitor -Epilogue-
Okay...so I didn't necessarily point out that the last chapter I posted was the end, but I read over it and found it suitable as a final point of the plot. So, here's your confirmation: Chapter 10 was sadly the end.
Fret not, here's the epilogue...and I can guarantee you that it's (a bit) longer that the usual, crappy chapters I've been posting lately.
The reason: School's almost out for the summer. In 4 school days, to be exact [:
Here goes the final installment to this story.
(You can bet that this will be a cheesy ending. I'm a HUGE sucker for them [: )

. : Five Years Later : .
My Blackberry buzzed across the surface of my cherry finished office desk.
My iPhone rang with no abandon.
My beeper's loud sounds demanded my attention.
"Arghhhh!!!" I screamed out loud.
My personal assitant, Raine, rushed inside my office and immediately stepped up to the front of my desk.
"Okay," she said, grabbing each of the devices and turning them off. "You definitely need a break."
Rubbing my temples, I looked up at her from my plush, leather computer seat.
"I know that, Raine," I said. "But nobody seems to want to give it to me."
"Forget about everything right now," she said in a calming tone. "I'll take all your calls, just leave your Blackberry and iPhone here. Shut your beeper off. Only answer family calls on your personal phone. Got it?"
I nodded. Sometimes Raine was something more that an assistant for me. She seemed to be someone who helped me live my hectic life, making sure I didn't go insane.
"I just have no idea how-until now-they still haven't let up on all these phone calls. I've had enough of the non-stop ringing for six months. You'd think they'd have all the information they wanted by now," I said with a groan.
"Well..." Raine began. "Tomorrow is the big day. And both of you are really important figures in the world. It's only logical that this much interest is created by what you're both doing."
"I understand that," I said as I tried to get my purse ready to go home, "but I really just want some normality for once. Just a period where I don't have to be what everyone expects me to be but just who I really am."
"I'm sorry. Go home and you can do just that," Raine said.
"Yeah, I think I'll do that," I said.
Standing up from my desk, I slung my Kate Spade tote over my shoulder. I began walking to the door of my office, Raine trailing behind me. In my right hand, I held the latest Nokia phone released that acted as my personal phone, whose number only a few select people knew. As I stepped out of my office, Raine shut the lights of the room behind me. She closed the door gently and, as I turned around to face her, she smiled.
"Relax tonight. Tomorrow's a big day. I know you guys aren't doing the traditional 'separation' thing for the night before, but try and get some rest tonight. Tomorrow's bound to be hectic," she reminded me.
"It is isn't it?" I asked her with a sigh.
"Don't worry, I'll be there and so will the planner so that you won't have to worry about things too much on your own. Everything's in great hands. Relax," she said once more.
