"What do you mean, they're gone?" A man growled into his phone, fingers tapping impatiently against the chairs armrests. "You were supposed to keep those papers safe and secure!"
There was a beat of silence as the man listened to the hurried, frantic reply. "I don't care how supposedly secure the place was supposed to be." He replied through grounded teeth, "What I care about is that those papers went missing anyways!"
The other party continued to try and explain the disappearance, muttering of shadows and vermilion fire.
"As I said before. I do not care how it happened nor do I care about who and why it happened. I care about the fact that it did happen anyways." The man interrupted, free hand curling into a fist. "You need to fix this and soon. I don't care how, just do it quietly and discreetly. If you fail, well, you know what will happen if you do."
Ignoring the insistent stuttering of the party, the man resolutely ended the call. Growling lowly, he slumped on his desk; placing his head on his hands. Silently, he debated on the pros and cons of him throwing his phone across the room in a fit of frustration buy decided against it. After all, why waste a still perfectly functioning phone, he'll just throw an old modeled one later.
"Trouble, old man?"
The man shot up sharply at the voice, eyes staring intently at the sudden figure by the door. Blood red eyes stared back at him smugly, pale lips curled into a dark smirk.
"Aeron. You come at the worst timings."
The teen's smirk widened into a grin, walking forwards languidly. "It's a gift." Aeron flopped onto an armchair just opposite of the desk and raised his legs to prop them on the desk itself. "The documents are gone aren't they?"
"And how would you know that? Unless of course, you knew it would be gone?"
Blood red eyes narrowed even as his lips stretched into a smirk. "Be careful in who you are accusing, signor. After all, you are already in enough trouble, you wouldn't want any other problems would you?" He stated tauntingly, eyes aglow
The man gritted his teeth, "We wouldn't even have these problems if you'd had taken her directly."
"But that would've had made it easier for you, wouldn't it?" The teen said, hands folded behind his head. "Remember, signor, I am on neither sides. I simply wish to see where this game would lead."
Aeron stood, a manic grin on his face. "Besides, in a game of chess the queen should always be free to move." He disappeared allowing the glass thrown at his head to soar pass air and crash against the floor.
The man growled lowly, "Meddlesome creature, just like the girl. I should've killed all of them that day, along with all the other meddlesome annoyances."

"Oi, how long 'til we reach Verde's?" Collonello questioned, head tilted ever so slightly even as he kept his grip on the motorcycle handles tight.
"We should see it soon." Leonora replied, tone bordering a shout as she tried to be heard against the winds roaring pass their faces. "And keep your eyes on the road you idiot, do you want us to crash?!"
The blonde rolled his eyes, "Relax, woman. I can drive this thing with my eyes closed and a hand tied behind my back."
"I'll feel safe when I'm far away from you and a bike put together." Leonora muttered lowly.
"I heard that!" Collonello hollered.
"Good! I meant for you to hear it!"
The two bickered lightly through the remaining ride with Leonora screeching about looking at the road every once in a while. A few more minutes into the ride, the two arrived at a forest's entrance.
