1 hour till show time...
She was already dressed, her hair pinned up and makeup perfectly applied. She couldn't risk any mistakes even if she had to walk around in the corset for an extra hour.
"Well isn't someone prepared" she heard, she spun, her white dress following behind. "I can't afford any mistakes" she said, he could tell she was serious. He shut the door, luckily Reneé and Jasmine were talking with the cast in the lounge. "Pip..." he starts but now she's pacing. "Lin...what if I miss a cue? What if I miss a line? What if I forget a dance step? Oh my god what if-" but she's greeted with a pair of lips on hers. "You weren't listening when I tried to talk." He said, she nodded with her cheeks a faint pink. "Pip those are what ifs for a reason, you're a amazing broadway actress and you can do this" he says, she nods.
He pulls her into a tight hug, arms protecting her from negative thoughts. "Anything you want or need?" He asks, she thinks. "I want..." she starts but then shakes her head. "What is it?" Lin questions. "To know you'll be there" she says shyly. "Of course I will, just like when we first opened at the public. I'll be there" he says, Phillipa smiles. They hug one more time and Lin places a tender kiss on her head...
