A school week has passed and I've spent most of my time with Kevin. He even came to my house on Wednesday to hand me the homework I'd forgotten at school and even helped me with it.
When I wasn't with Kevin, I was thinking about him; the way he laughed and his emerald eyes twinkled with excitement and his brown hair shook all over the place.
He seemed to take up all of my brain space these days.
Do you think Kevin likes me? I mean...maybe? I think Kevin's cute and helpful and funny, so if he does like me...what exactly does Emerald-eye boy see in me?
The doctors have been talking to my parents. I wasn't supposed to hear them but they said I might die. What if I die? Kevin...what am I going to tell Kevin?
