He speeds up and I lose control of myself. I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster, losing all feeling and enjoying everything. My eyes are shut but suddenly, he skids to a halt.
"Take a look around Coco, take it all in."
I open my eyes and I, I have no words.
We're in a clearing, with a few scattered trees and bushes, and long grass, but most importantly, a stunning clear waterfall cascading down rounded stones into a flowing stream. My eyes have been blessed.
I take a good minute taking in all the scenery and all the while Kevin just sits and smiles.
He lays out a picnic blanket on the grass and takes a seat. A pang of envy goes through me. I want to be sitting on that blanket with him.
