The morning was warm and I was excited to go to school today.
We got there early and I saw Kevin sitting in class, looking very bored.
Amy wheeled me over to my desk beside him and he grinned.
"Here Coco," he says, passing me an envelope. I open it up and see an invitation to his party.
His birthday party is at his house this Saturday. Amy leaves me be, and waved goodbye.
The whole day I think about what I should get Kevin for his birthday. It can't be too personal, and what happens if he gets offended by it?
I listen intently to what he talks about, but he didn't drop any hints.
When Amy comes to pick me up, I still have no idea what to get him. I show Amy the invitation and she smiles.
"I'm so glad you're going! I bet he's going to love whatever you give him."
I spend my time at home doing my homework and thinking what to get Kevin. But then it hits me in the face.
This'll be perfect.
