The rain starts pouring down and Kevin takes a little detour down behind some shops.
"Don't worry, I'll call Amy and tell her that I'll bring you home once the rain has passed."
He sets up the picnic blanket underneath the tree and puts me on it again.
We can hear some music playing in the background from one of the restaurants just over the side of the small hill behind us.
Kevin smiles at me, his brown hair plastered to his face. He shuffles closer to me, and I put a hand on his arm.
Kevin takes a deep breath and grins. "Would you like to dance?" he asks.
He stares at me, eyes wide and soaking. I nod.
