The sun streaming through the thin drapes woke me up. I sat up quickly and looked at the toilet door. It was still secure.

The clock above the TV said it was 6:20. I reluctantly pulled myself out of bed and headed to the bathroom door. I pulled the chair out from under the handle and unlocked the door. T-bag was spread out on the floor, his mouth was wide open and he was snoring quietly. I nudged him with my foot, "Wake up." I hissed loudly. He made a startled noise and sat up. "C'mon, we're leaving in 10." I said before leaving and shutting the door behind me.

I packed my stuff up and straightened up the bed covers. My father was a monster but he didn't raise a slob. After 10 minutes T-bag emerged from the bathroom. I peed and threw my hair up into a ponytail. We headed outside "I'm going to hand the key back in, the car is the silver one in the corner." T-bag nodded and headed the opposite direction. I handed the key over to the guy in reception and quickly left, making my way towards the car.

T-bag was leaning against the car hood his face tilted towards the sun fiddling with a cocktail stick. "I need to search you." He looked at me questioningly "Weapons." He shrugged and stepped forward stretching out his arms and spreading his legs suggestively.

"Knock yourself out Livvie." He said winking at me. I ignored him and patted him down, recovering a penknife and a wallet from his pockets.

"Hey!" He exclaimed. "That ain't no weapon it's mine."

I opened it up, it was the wallet of the guy from the clinic, he must have been the one to sew T-bag's hand back on. My stomach flipped, I didn't want to think about what T-bag might have done to that guy. I tucked the wallet and penknife into my pocket and got into the car. T-bag got into the passenger seat and instantly reclined his seat as far back as it would go. "Really?" I said.

He clicked his tongue at me "You try sleeping on a bathroom floor sugar." I rolled my eyes and started the car, pulling out of the parking lot.

While T-bag was sleeping I changed the destination on the GPS. John had a safe house a few hours from here, Utah was still a good 10 hours away and I wanted to see John. After a couple of hours T-bag woke up, he stretched like a cat and pulled his seat back up. He peered at the GPS. "Um girly this doesn't look like the way to Utah."

I kept my eyes on the road. "Listen I'm the one who let you stay in my room and who is giving you a lift, we go where I say and when I tell you to get lost you're gonna do it, okay."

T-bag tutted, "Whatever." He said sounding annoyed. After a minute of silence he opened the glovebox and started to dig around. "Aha." He said pulling out the receipt with Stephanie's number on it and examining "What do we have here." I pulled the receipt out of his hand and shoved it into my pocket.

"It's none of your goddamn business, that's what it is."

He raised his hands defensively. "Hey I swing both ways as well, it's cool."

I ignored him and turned the radio on turning the volume up almost as high as it would go. I wasn't ashamed of my sexuality but I'd be damned if I ever discussed it with someone like T-bag. I opened the window and put on my sunglasses and baseball cap questioning why this man was in the car with me right now. After another hour of driving I pulled into the car park of a small town very close to where the safe house is located.

"Okay this is as far as you go." T-bag started to protest. "Unless you want John to cut off your other hand." That shut him up. I gave him a bottle of water, some food and 10 dollars. "I don't know why I'm being so generous, you're a piece of shit Bagwell."

He smiled widely at me "You ain't an innocent flower yourself Livvie." He started to walk away. He turned back and gave me another smile "Be seeing you sugar." I waited till he disappeared from sight before grabbing my rucksack and heading in the opposite direction. I walked for 5 minutes before coming across a small restaurant. I headed to the back and walked in through the kitchen ignoring the shouts of protest. I knocked on the door at the end of the kitchen and opened it. 5 guns were pointed at me.

"Woahhh, boys it's just me." I said to the men. They lowered their guns.

"Good to see you Ford" said one of the men stepping forward and patting me on the back.

"Back at you David." I said "Where's John?"

"He's in the back. His family is here."

"Thanks David, see you around."

I headed through into the back. The first thing I saw was John's 2 kids sitting colouring, they looked up as soon as I came in.

"Liv!" Nicole yelled running at me, I caught her in my arms swinging her around.

"Hey sweetheart." I beamed kissing her cheek. Lucas wrapped his arms around my legs hugging tight, I bent down and picked him up as well hugging them both. I loved John's kids, my god children, I'd give my life for them.

I put them down and embraced Sylvia. "I've missed you Liv." She whispered in my ear. I bit my lip to stop me from welling up. Sylvia had always been like a mother to me.

"Missed you too."

"Liv?"

I pulled away from Sylvia and looked behind her. John stood with his hair slicked back and shades on top of his head. "Hey there." I said walking towards him. He wrapped his arms around me holding me tight. A tear slipped down my face.

"I was so scared John." I whispered

He stroked my hair.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I wasn't there sweetheart."

Sort of an abrupt ending but I thought I'd get this chapter out rather than making it too long, also I know John is actually in New York but I have to change some things to make things work.
