Knuckles was searching frantically and anxiously for his lover. Sonic who had disappeared during one of his runs in the jungle. Knuckles won't be able to forgive himself if something horribly awful happened to his sweet Sonic. Then as faith has guide him he saw a cave full of spiderwebs inside he heard of muffled scream that sounded like Sonic. But for Knuckles to be determined he went inside that spiderwebbed covered cave and looked for the source of the muffled scream. Then as he went where the sound camas from his eyes widened in horror to see it was Sonic trapped in a spiderweb and wrapped in a spiders cocoon and half of it covered his mouth. Knuckles was in shock to see him as prey for a hungry giant spider. Knuckles ran towards the paralyzed hedgehog and used his shovel claws to cut him down and cut him loose as he cut the web off his mouth. Knuckles said as he as he placed a hand on his cheek, are you alright my angel? Sonic was relieved that Knuckles found him as he said, yes my darling I'm alright but right now we need to get outta here before that giant spider comes back. But as they ran holding hands a lot of little and big spiders came into contact as Knuckles went from holding Sonics hand to holding Sonic in his arms. Knuckles told Sonic, it's okay Sonic just hold on tight. Knuckles held Sonic in his arms as as the hedgehog obeyed and ran outta there just in time before the spiders were able to get to them. Knuckles was really lucky to get Sonic outta there in time and Sonic was fortunate that Knuckles saved him from being spider food. Knuckles felt so relieved as he saw Sonic was unharmed luckily he wasn't bitten. Sonic started to cry as he still held on to Knuckles and whispered, Oh Knuckles I was so scared. The echidna held on to him as if holding on for dear life. Knuckles said as he stood up and still held on to the frightened hedgehog, come on let's get outta here this isn't a safe place for us. As they walked off outta the jungle Sonic smiled as he always knew that he is and always will be safe around Knuckles.
