Knuckles (wearing a dark blue bandanna on his head with a brown vest, dirty black shirt, and grey pants and with a sword) was on the way by gliding through the sky about to rescue Sonic from Mephiles and his vicious gang of pirates as he was thinking how it all began:
7 hours earlier:
Knuckles was guarding the master emerald as usual when his secret crush Sonic (wearing an orchid color sleeveless shirt that goes down to his thigh and sparkling orchid tight-like pants with a queen of the night orchid on the left side of his head in front of his ear and orchid colored sneakers with violet butterflies on each side) ran towards him with a sweet smile on his face while waving to him. Knuckles was trying to act like he didn't hear him but he couldn't help nor resist how cute Sonic looks in the color orchid he looked like a delicate beautiful little flower when he is wearing it. Knuckles stood up and said as he closed his eyes and blushed pink, what do you want Sonic? Knuckles looked at Sonics sparkling green eyes as if to say is there something wrong? Knuckles blushed at those sparkling eyes. Sonic shyly said, would you like to come to the flower patch with me I'm making a flower crown and I have no one to try it one for me. Knuckles hesitated then smiled as he nodded at the hedgehog. Sonic took Knuckles hand as they made their way to the flower patch but before they can go further to the flower patch a pack of pirates appeared in front of them in the most scariest of frights. Sonic gasped in horror as he recognized one of them and one of them was the leader Mephiles. Mephiles gave a evil look and ordered his crew as he laughed, BRING ME THAT SWEET LITTLE FLOWER HE WILL BE MINE!!! Sonic was in fear as he said, for what I ain't Mephiles! Mephiles smirked wider as he said, HA THERES WHERE YOUR WRONG MY DEAR YOU BE COMING WITH ME TO BE MY BEAUTIFUL BRIDE!!! Sonic was in shock yet fear when he heard him say that as Sonic shakily said, for...forget it I...I'm n...not m...marrying you!! Mephiles ordered his men, CAPTURE HIM!! But Knuckles yelled as he got in the way, BACK OFF MEPHILES YOU LEAVE SONIC ALONE!!! With that Mephiles ordered his men again, KILL THE ECHIDNA MI LADS!!! One by one Knuckles defeated all but one because unfortunately one bopped him in the head the last sighting before he blacked out was Sonic struggling and screaming for Knuckles in tears.
Now:
Knuckles thought as he spotted the ship, I really need to save Sonic before Mephiles forces Sonic to marry him. As he landed on the ship he his in one of the barrels and heard one of the pirates talking, so where be the captains bride again? The other one said, I already told yee he be in the dungeon tied up beside he wouldn't even learn to keep his mouth shut. The first pirate said, I be willing to place a bet that the captains trying to have a we fun with the lad before the wedding. The other pirate nodded. The red echidna managed to sneak into the dungeon without ever being spotted. He managed to find the hiding place where Mephiles would never spot him. He hears Mephiles talking to Sonic (tied up and now wearing a wrecked wedding dress and veil), alright sweetheart I think it's time for our wedding now with that echidna outta the way. His sentence was interrupted by Knuckles who jumped in by surprise, oh really Mephiles. Mephiles was shocked to see the echidna and said as he was surprised, what your still alive? But how and how did you sneak away from me crew? Knuckles drew his sword and said as he positioned himself in fighting, ha you called that a crew I call them fools now you better hand over my sweetheart or things will get ugly. Mephiles was not impressed by his tough talk and went into his fighting position. But as they were sword fighting Sonic was relieved that Knuckles was alive and came to his rescue but he was worried that he may not win but fortunately for Sonic they didn't tie up his feet or legs so Sonic got into the standing position and made Mephiles fall on his rear that made him lose his sword. Mephiles attempted to stood up but Knuckles pushed outta the way and cut the ropes off of Sonic. The hedgehog said happily, oh Knuckles I knew you be alive they told me they killed you. Knuckles stroke his cheek and said as he held Sonic close, I don't die easily babe. With that they kissed and ran out as Sonic threw the veil off. Mephiles was not pleased as he was about to chase after them but then realized that his boat is starting to sink. He alerted his crew but as they headed out for their emergency boat it was already gone then they heard a familiar voice, HEY MEPHILES LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?! (Turns out Knuckles somehow managed to take the emergency boat along with Sonic.) they looked to see Knuckles in the boat with Sonic (who changed outta his wedding dress and back into his orchid colored clothes) in his arms. Sonic kissed him on the cheek and couldn't help giggling. Knuckles rowed away from the sinking boat but not before hearing Mephiles saying, BLAST YOU KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA!!! Sonic said as he blushed and wrapped his arms around Knuckles neck, thank you for rescuing me Knuckles. Then kissed Knuckles on the lips. Knuckles turned red as his own fur as he said, awww...shucks. Together the two rowed away almost sinking ship. Later in the evening Sonic and Knuckles began happily making their flower crowns together in a flower patch on Angel Island.
