Knuckles was hurt from the last battle that took place on Angel Island he got hurt because Sonic got bruised up badly and he was extremely angry because the robots beaten him but was fortunate that he beat them all. He woke up he found himself in the infirmary. He wanted to get back to the shrine but he couldn't. That's when he heard a familiar voice saying, but I haft to it's my fault that Knuckles got hurt. He recognized it as Sonic as the hedgehog ran in (wearing long black coat underneath) Knuckles rolled over pretending to sleep as Sonic walked towards him and said in a really sad tone, Knuckles I'm so very sorry about all this maybe it was a mistake and it's all my fault so I going to take good care of you in order to make it up to you. Wait right here Knux I'll be right back. Knuckles rolled back to his position and whispered, what in the world is he up to now? About an hour later Sonic came back Knuckles turned around and said, Sonic if this is one of your dumb jokes again I'm gonna..... Knuckles cut himself off as he took one look at the blue hedgehog wearing an adorable nurses uniform. Sonic said in a cute tone as he smiled and blushed, oh good your awake.. Knuckles nose started to bleed as he seen the hedgehog looking so adorable. In shock Knuckles attempted to fall but Sonic catches him in time by the arm which mad Knuckles accidentally landed his face on his chest. Embarrassed Knuckles got off him while blushing and babbled trying to say to explain that he didn't mean falling on him like that. Sonic whispered to him calmly as he placed a finger on his lips, shh...haven't you heard? I volunteer here although it's a shock and a shame that I haft to wear the nurse outfit. I know it's embarrassing to see me like this but.... Knuckles interrupted shyly but calmly as he blushed and closed his eyes, well I really thought that nurses outfit made you look cute....OH SHOOT!! Knuckles got a little shocked because he told him what's on his mind and Sonic blushed and said, you....think I look cute in this? Knuckles while blushing looked at his friend and nodded. Sonic said, well....thank you I....don't know what to say.... Knuckles....I'll do whatever I can to help you get better okay? He gazed at his lavender eyes as Knuckles nodded as touched his cheek. At that moment their lips touched though Knuckles felt soar on the outside his heart was healed on the inside.
