some wear their flaws on their sleeves to be showcased to the world
others mask them away inside of them shielded by a thick cloak
scars from fights, or the remnants of acne to short tempers and pushing away those who are closest
we must know that our flaws are there to help us stem, to bloom, to grow
they are not a part of us so we can shrink back into ourselves
wear it proudly, like a badge
make sure it catches the sunlightfor we all have flaws
that doesn't mean our flaws have to make us who we are
- accept yourself.
