CHAPTER 6

Wow , he looked amazing in a green button down and grey jeans. I was glad he hasn't jelled his hair. I like his curls. Sue me.

"You look vunderful , Красивый."
"Thank you . You look very handsome yourself."
He blushed. "Ve are going to my room to watch a movie , zen we will have dinner and after zat zere is a surprise."
"Sounds amazing."

Then we walked to his room.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked as I settled myself on his bed.
"It iz a choice betveen Titanic and Ze Notebook."
"Titanic , if you don't mind. It's just a captivating love story."

Then he played the movie and climbed on the bed. He hesitantly put his arm around me , but relaxed when I eased up into him.

I love Titanic. Not in a sappy way ,but it's nice.

The dinner(which he'd cooked himself) was delicious! It was a Russian delicacy I couldn't pronounce to save my life.

"Now for ze surprise." he said as he handed me a blindfold."

"A little early , don't you think for kinky stuff?" I teased.
I laughed when he turned red and I said ," I'm kidding , Pav. Just don't let me fall."
"Never."
Then he guided me to the observation deck. I was spellbound. Apparently he had turned the ship at such an angle that we could see all the stars.
He taught me all the constellations he knew - Leo , Aquarius , Cassiopeia , Ursa Major , Sirius etc.
"Thank you", I whispered ,"They're...... exquisite."
"Not az much az you", he smiled as he kissed my forehead.
I was 2 inches shorter than him. He was 5"9 and I was 5"7.

"It's 10. We need to go back" he said gently.
"Yeah...yeah , right. Let's go."
Then we walked to my room as he asked me about where I grew up, how is India etc....

Then as if he remembered something suddenly he turned to me and said , panicked ," You didn't tell Bones we haff a date , did you?"
"No. Why?"
"Keptin told me he's very protective of his female nurses and assistants. Treats them like his daughters. And never approved of their boyfriends."
"Don't worry.......Am I your girlfriend , then ? "
"Do you vant to be?" he asked , with a 'please say yes' expression.
"Obviously. Which idiot would turn you down?'

Then we reached the door.
"I had the best time. Thank you."
"Eet was nothing."
We lingered a bit. After almost 5 minutes , it was clear he wasn't gonna kiss me unless I told him to.
"Think you can kiss me?" I asked , blushing.
"I..uh , I....I can do zat." We both chuckled because I had heard the tale of him rampaging down the ship yelling 'i can do zat!' knocking everyone down a hundred times.
Then he leaned and kissed me. It was my first kiss. It was magical.

Then suddenly a voice yelled , DAMN IT , CHEKOV! What do you think you're doing to my assistant!?"
