Annabeth's POV

"I don't know, I guess she just randomly met someone and now they're her new roommate." I was driving back home with Percy, who had his hand on my leg whilst he was driving. I yawned softly.

"You gonnna fall asleep again?" He looked at me quickly before turning his vision back to the road. I shrugged and yawned again. In all honesty, I had to leave the house later without Percy even knowing where I was going. My friend invited me to a party but I know Percy would never let me go so I was just going to dress in something casual and tell him I was going to hang out with Hazel and Piper for a girls night out. Hopefully it would work. But I had to leave when we got home so I decided maybe a nap in the car wouldn't hurt.

I slowly closed my eyes and leaned my head on Percy's shoulder for support. I saw him smile and look down at me slightly before I fell asleep and I smiled back before closing my eyes.

Percy woke me up and got me out of the car thirty minutes later when we got back. We were a little bit farther than the first time we went there because we just went straight home from the mall instead of going back to Luna's house.

We both got out of the car and I told Percy about my "girls night out" with Hazel and Piper. He just nodded and said, "I'm a little tired from driving so I'll probably just take a nap. Have a good night." He kissed me on the cheek before walking into our room. I went into the room to pick out an outfit before going into the bathroom to shower and change. Then I went to the party.

At the start of this so-called amazing party I met a guy named Tyler. He was very nice and sweet. He was tall. Not as tall as Percy but then again everyone was taller than me and not taller than Percy. He was kind of scrawny but had a slight build. He had brown hair and dark brown eyes. All in all he was cute. Any girl would be lucky to have him. But he's not better than Percy is.

We were sitting on the couch just talking because he was the only person I knew in this place. And I couldn't find my friend so I gave up a while ago. He looked over at me because I was staring off into space.

"Can I show you something?" He suddenly asked me. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow but he just smiled. He grabbed my wrist and brought me upstairs. It was really dark and I couldn't see anything. Suddenly he let go of my hand and I was pushed back onto a bed. I yelped slightly. He got on top of me to pin me down.

"Get off! I have a boyfriend you know!" He wouldn't budge. I kicked and shoved him and when he was slightly off I bit his should and he let go. I sprinted down the stairs and out of the house. I ran into the car just as I saw him coming out of the house without a shirt on. That dick! He ran over to my car and I started it before driving away.

Then, I screamed. I couldn't tell Percy what happened. He'd be so mad at me for lying about where I was going and then he wouldn't talk to me. No, I had to tell him. I'll pay my consequences but he has to know what happened. I didn't realize I was crying until my eyes got really blurry. I tried wiping them away but when I opened my eyes, all I saw was bright headlights and a car swerving too late. There was a loud crash and someone screaming, probably me, and then glass rained down from every direction. My vision went black.

Percy's POV

I had been with everyone the entire time. I knew Annabeth was lying because I asked Piper if she had plans earlier tonight and she said no. I was freaking out when I didn't know where she was going so everyone came over and tried to help me. Suddenly, my phone started ringing. The caller ID said "Annabeth <3" and I sighed in relief before answering.

"Hello?" A man's voice fed through the phone. "This is the people working for the police. Annabeth Chase just got into a car crash from what we think may have been from driving angrily or drunk. We found her phone and you are the last person she has called. What's your relation to Annabeth, sir?" I looked at all of them and started tearing up before answering.

"Boyfriend. I'm her boyfriend. And Annabeth would never drink."

"Well we are taking her to the hospital closest to here. Do you mind telling everyone what happened?"

"No not at all. Thank you."

I looked around at everyone and they all looked at me with concern. "Annabeth got into a car accident." They all looked shocked. "Come on we have to go." We all got up and headed to our seperate cars. I called her parents on the way there and they said they'd be there by tomorrow. At least her dad did. I don't know about her stepmom. We all got to the hospital at around the same time.

I got to the front desk. "We are here for Annabeth Chase. She should have just arrived from getting in a car accident?" She looked down at her computer.

"They are getting her set up and getting her cleaned up. You guys can be let in when they give you the news about what happened." We all nodded slightly and sat in the waiting room.

   About 30 minutes later someone came out and asked to see the guests here for Annabeth. We walked up to him.

   "We were on the phone with a boyfriend of Annabeth Chase. Which one of you is it?" I raised my hand a little bit. He took me over somewhere in the corner of the room. "Your girlfriend is fine. She got out alive with a minor concussion and a lot of cuts from glass but she's a fighter. On a lower note though, she fell into a coma when she got here and we don't know when she'll wake up. She may suffer from abbot of memory loss when she wakes up." Tears streaked down my face.

   "Can I see her please?" I choked out, biting my tongue so I wouldn't start sobbing.

   "Yes. She's in room 213." I took the elevator up to the second floor while the doctor told everyone else what was going on. I searched for room 213. When I got to the door, I stood on the other side for a long time. Listening closely to the heart monitor. Not quite ready to walk in and see her. I finally got the courage to walk into the room.

   I almost gasped when I saw her and my eyes welled up with tears. I walked over to her. "Hey Annabeth. How are you doing? I know you can't answer but I miss you and you haven't even been here for an hour. What happened that made you so angry? I knew you were lying about going with Piper and Hazel. Where did you go? I don't care that you lied anymore. I just want you to be here with me. If this is so sad. Can you even hear me. Well if you can, I love you more than anything and I really hope you wake up soon. I gotta go back home. Your parents should be here tomorrow. I don't have your mom's number but I got a hold of your dad and he said he'd be here. I don't know about your stepmom. I love you and I'll see you tomorrow okay? Okay have a good night tonight. I know it's not the most comfortable thing in the entire world. But I love you and I know you'll get better. You're one of the strongest people I know after all. Goodnight, Babe. I love you." I kissed her forehead and then her cheek and then her lips before walking out and leaving the hospital.

Hey guys! I would say I hope you liked this chapter but I have a feeling you guys didn't. Don't worry it will get a lot better in the next chapter. And I mean a lot. So just wait a little bit. Hopefully I will have the next chapter up tomorrow but I don't even know. I have trouble with updating everyday but my writers block is officially gone so it shouldn't take as long as it usually does. This chapter is longer than usual due to me being sorry for not updating and also not wanting to split it into two chapters. So yeah.
