Percy's POV
Annabeth being pregnant was definitely a roller coaster ride. Mood swings, cravings, it never ends. We had bought so much food in the past few months, I don't even know what to do with half of it. The worst thing is that half of the time, she takes one bite out of it and then craves something else. I still love her, but gods it's been a lot of work.
It had been a while since she's gotten pregnant. We always made jokes about how fast it was going but now that it's practically here, it seems as though time slowed down. Its almost like everyday now we're somewhat expecting her to go into labor. Which sounds horrible but she's 9 months along already.
So today, I started my day by eating breakfast, as usual, and made breakfast for Annabeth. Hopefully she wakes up happy. She walked in and hugged me. "I just want to get this over with. I know it sounds horrible but I'm so sick of not being able to see my own feet." I smiled and laughed slightly.
"I'm going to the store. Want anything?" I grabbed my keys and looked at her. Her eyes lit up.
"I actually have a list somewhere around here. I know I've been all over the place lately but I'm hoping this will do." She handed me a list of different kinds of foods that she's obviously been craving lately.
"And you're sure that's all?" She smiled slightly.
"No. But I'll call you if I think of something else." She looked up at me and kissed me. "Love you."
"Love you too. I'll be back in an hour or so."

Going to the store was alright. It took a while. After about thirty minutes into it, Annabeth called me with about ten more things she wanted. And then called me fifteen minutes after that with hygienic things she absolutely needed while I was there.
She kept saying she felt really bad about pushing me around lately so she told me if I wanted to buy anything, I could. I respectfully declined, because well, if we needed any sweets they'd already be in the house. She likes sweets.
All in all, shopping took me forty-five minutes more than it should've. But I guess it was for a good cause.

I was in the car when I got the news. Ya know, the news. That's right, in the car, driving peacefully. I get a call, I answer it.
"Percy, we're having a kid. Get home now."
I don't think I've ever gone that fast in my life. I mean sure, you tend to go just a bit over the speed limit in your lifetime. You don't want people to think you're a slow driver. But that was the fastest I've ever gone. My mind was working over time, my ADHD kicking in high gear. I could see everything, sense everything.
I got to the apartment and Annabeth was walking out with Piper and the girls. She got to the car and sat down in the seat. "Wow. Are you okay?" I sped out of the parking lot, towards the hospital.
All she did was nod. That's all she could do anyway. It probably wasn't her most eloquent moment, breathing heavily, her face completely drained of any other color except red. I grabbed hold of her hand and bit my lip, obviously nervous. I pulled into the parking lot of the hospital.
We got out of the parking lot and into the building, where they put her on a wheelchair and got her to the room. That's when it hit me.
I was going to be a dad.
I was starting to feel really light headed. I hadn't felt like this since she got pregnant. Even then, it was hard to feel anything else but joy. Joy that we were creating a new life. Joy that we were going to be raising our own child the way we wanted to. Joy that no one could stop us now. But now, I just felt really nervous.

It was hard to really focus on anything in the delivery room. My mind was everywhere. Annabeth had grabbed my hand. I was too busy staring at a wall, but eventually I was actually a good husband and helped her out as much as I could.
As much as it looked like I knew what I was doing, I really didn't. I was still super confused and everything went by in a bit of a blur. Then, it went away. Silence. And then crying.
Annabeth seemed very out of the loop as well. As soon as the babies were born, the doctors took them to be cleaned off. Yes, I said babies. Did I forget to mention we had twins?
Well, Annabeth seemed really upset about it. "Where are they going?" She looked at me and I smiled and squeezed her hand. I brought up my other hand to brush the hair out of her face. The doctor came back about five minutes later with our children.
One girl and one boy. Silena and Luke. We had found out not too long ago that the only reason Luke Castellan was a bad guy was because he was being mind controlled by some other evil guy. Luke ended up defying him but got brutally killed in the process. Luckily, the new generation of stone keepers came to save the day. So, we named our boy after Luke, to honor him in his triumphant effort of trying to take the guy down.
Silena was named after Annabeth's old friend. A really good friend of hers who had died at the young age of 14 due to heart failure. Our happy family was complete. Almost. We still needed to buy a house, I still need to get a job when they get older, and eventually we'll need to get pets. Because who doesn't love animals?
So far so good, though. We got the kids home a couple days later, where our friends awaited us in our apartment. The girls got to see the kids and go crazy over them, while the guys got to congratulate me and just have some fun. Once everyone left, we got the babies set for bed, then got ourselves set for bed, then went to sleep.
I wrapped my arms around Annabeth and chuckled softly. She looked up at me. "What's so funny?" She looked confused.
"Can you imagine what it's going to be like when we finally get to say 'all is good with the Jackson family.'" I smiled down at her.
"We can already say that. Even by ourselves." She moved her head back down to my bare chest.
"Yeah. All is good with the Jackson family." I smiled and she nodded before falling asleep.
You hear that guys? All is good with the Jackson family.
