Annabeth's POV
Percy and I finally got to the store to get the wedding rings. He looked at me and sighed. "This has been a lot of work." I smiled and got out of the car.
"Eh. It's been pretty great, though." He chuckled softly and grabbed my hand, kissing the back of it.
"Of course it has. I'm marrying the love of my life." I smiled widely and made him turn so I could kiss him.
"You're adorable." I told him as we walked into the store.

We got back in the car about 30 minutes later. We had already gone to the store for the imprints of our fingerprints, so all we had to do was pick them up and pay. I got back in the car and leaned on Percy's shoulder as he drove. I sighed. He looked down slightly before turning his head to look at the road.
"Tired?" I nodded and looked up at him.
"I just want to get married and calm down." He laughed.
"Except for jobs and money and we should get a house. We might want to have children some day. It keeps going no matter what you do. Even Luna has a new roommate already. Or at least that's what I heard." I stuck my tongue out at him.
"I'm hoping my mom will give me a job at her architectural company but I don't even know if she'll talk to me." He smiled slightly.
"She will. She helped me pick out your ring," he grabbed my hand. "She hates your stepmom with a burning passion. Thinks she's a total bitch but she said she was glad we took you in because she didn't know where you were until we called her because of the car accident." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"You're the best." I smiled up at him and he smiled but kept his eyes on the road. "Do you think my dad will come to the wedding if my stepmom doesn't want to?"
"He has to. You're his daughter, after all. I don't think he would miss it for the world."
"Hmm. I say we take a nap when we get home." He laughed.
"Babe, you just woke up two hours ago." I stuck my tongue out at him again.
"Whatever." I laid my head down on his shoulder and grabbed one of his hands and interlaced our fingers. I closed my eyes. I could see him smiled slightly and he brought up my hand to look at my ring.
"So I have great news." I looked up at him with my eyes wide. He had been talking about getting a job somewhere close so we could buy a house as a married couple.
"What is it?" He smiled at how excited I was.
"I applied for that marine biologist job that I found and they offered me an interview." I smiled widely and he did too.
"Yay! That's so exciting!" I exclaimed and he kissed the back of my hand.
"Well at least you're wide awake now. You wanna go do something? Like maybe look at the venue of the wedding?" I smiled.
"Yeah. I really would." He smiled and put in the address on the GPS.
"It's a lot prettier at night, but the actual reception will be during the day anyway. We'll have fairy lights everywhere during the night and we'll turn them on at like dusk." I smiled and nodded.
We got there in about 45 minutes. I gasped when we walked in. It was beautiful. We still had to pick out the flowers and the candles and pretty much every decoration from candles to silverware. But we're going to do that tomorrow.
