Chapter 2: Another Girl is Living With Us?!

"Hello...? Is anyone home?"

Ayato and Subaru glared in the direction of the voice. Ayato, more focused than Subaru, takes steps toward the source, while Subaru carries you back to your room. Now fully knocked out due to over-working the limits of your small, developing body, you rested against Subaru's chest.

Subaru kicked your bedroom door open angrily, with the other brothers staring at him knowingly.

"What happened?" Subaru growled at the smirking Laito as he set you down in your bed. "You seem like you know what happened here the most."

"Actually, Subaru, we all know fully well what went down. Simply put, (Y/N) got angry at Ayato~" Laito halfway explained.

"Ayato was being ignorant and decided to take (Y/N)'s toy away from her, and as a combative reflex, she kicked him with all her strength in his groin." Reiji barked.

"That's basically what happened. No matter how mad I get at (Y/N), I would never take anything of hers. Right, Teddy?" Kanato confirmed.

"Tch, typical. Does Shu know about this?" Subaru glared expectantly at his older brothers.

"No. That lousy excuse of an elder brother doesn't know." Reiji growled at the hearing of his older brother's name.

Subaru nodded and neared the doorway, and stopped to turn his head slightly. "Oh, and we have a guest. Think you should tell Shu that, too."

"So, who are you, Pancake? Tell us!" Ayato shouted at the girl impatiently. She had blonde hair that curled just above her shoulders, and bright red eyes. She was so pale from fear, she didn't know who she was talking to.

"Ayato. Save it." Reiji growled at Ayato.

"But who is she? Huh?!" Ayato growled back.

Before Ayato and Reiji could take their argument further, a certain brother interrupted them.

"I got a call. From that priest." Shu stated, with earbuds in his ear.

The rest of the brothers paid close attention to what Shu had to say. The girl also listened intently, while still very scared.

"He said, 'We have a member of the Church coming to visit. Please treat her with respect.' He also said not to kill her, too."

"Does that mean...?" Reiji blurted out, thinking aloud.

"Yes, she is the sacrificial bride, Reiji."

"Don't talk to me." Reiji growled.

Little did the brothers and the girl knew, you were intently listening to the conversation. Your eyes filled with wonder. A bride? Is she marrying anyone? Curious, you quietly stepped down the stairs, everyone too confused or angry to concentrate on your small form. You loom over Shu's quiet and peaceful state. Poking him softly, you managed to make him open his eyes and look at you. Your face lit up brightly and you smiled at him while he still gave you his same cold stare.

"What is it, (Y/N)?" Shu said loud enough for the whole group to notice. You shuddered as you felt a strong, intense and angry stare on you. You tilt you little head to the side to notice Ayato hovering over you, tracing your eyes to the sadistic grin on his face.

You quickly look away to ask Shu about who the girl is and why she is a bride. He chuckled at your innocence, sitting up and patting your head. "Nothing you need to worry about, (Y/N)."

"(Y/N)... Look at me!" Ayato spat his words at you. You slowly turn your head around at him again. You faked a smile toward your brother's towering form. "Normally, I'd beat you until you begged for mercy. But since there's a guest here..."

You waited patiently for what was coming. Your fake smile twitching with nervousness.

"Apologize. Now." Ayato ordered.

All tension escaped from you. "Okay, sure! Sorry!" You giggled at yourself for being so scared for no reason.

"For?" Ayato interrupted your premature celebration.

You hung your head low. "F-For kicking you... and h-hurting you..."

"That's more like it, rabbit." Ayato chuckled, kneeling down. "And don't forget to keep your promise."

You blowed a raspberry at him and took your attention to the girl. Instinctively, you ran to her to avoid Ayato's choking hugs.

Nicely, you introduced yourself to her. "Hi! I'm (Y/N) Sakamaki, and those are my older brothers. The one with the crazy red hair is a big meanie!"

"HEY! TAKE THAT BACK! (Y/N)!" Ayato screamed at you, you simply ignoring him.

"Ah, she's ignoring you, Ayato~ She's never had another girl in the house, let her have her fun~" Laito directed.

"The only playmates she's ever had were Teddy, me, and Ayato. Give her a chance." Kanato sighed, stroking Teddy.

The girl smiled at you. "My name is Yui Komori, nice to meet you, (Y/N)!"

"(Y/N), you can't just go up to strangers and introduce yourself." Reiji said bluntly.

"But she's not a stranger if I know her name, dummy!" You whined.

"W-What?!" Reiji mumbled angrily. "H-How am I...?"

"Welcome to my world, Reiji." Ayato laughed.

"(Y/N) is our younger sister, and if you aren't nice to her..." Subaru glared at Yui intensely, with his famous death glares. "You'll be crushed." He said, punching the wall, causing the surrounding area of impact to crack.

"U-Understood!" Yui trembled. You didn't understand why Subaru was so angry. You really didn't...

"Oh, yeah. And I forgot to mention that she'll be living with us." Shu stated loudly.

Almost everyone's jaw dropped. You were excited. Another girl is coming to live with you! Is this destiny? Will you be the best of friends or worst enemies? You could only wonder.
