Chapter 13: The Day (Y/n) Loses Her Innocence

A.n. It's not a lemon, so shut up.

After the school day is over, the ride home is rather silent. Upon returning home, however, you feel a lump in your throat that you just couldn't swallow. An overwhelming, thirsty bloodlustful hunger washes over you. You ignore it, not wanting to give in to a frenzy. You know what your body's senses crave, but you don't want to give in.

Once everyone filed into the living room, Ayato got rather restless. "...So, how was school, (Y/n)? Did you talk to any boys?"

Laito laughed. "Did you honestly forget that we were watching her the whole ti---!" Subaru punched his brother before he could finish. "Oh, Subaru, how rude~"

"Keep our business to ourselves. Then you won't get punched."

"I had a good day. Did you guys? What about you, Yui?" You asked everyone innocently.

They all replied with either a "yes" or, mostly "yeah". All except for Shu, he was genuinely asleep.

"Well, I'm gonna go to bed." You say quickly, feeling the thirst grow. As soon as you make it to your room, however, you are greeted with a sweet scent from elsewhere in the mansion. Oh, no! You thought. Why?! Why now? Why? What, is it because the author demands it? Geez! Great, now I'm getting even more thirsty.

"R-Reiji! Kanato! S-Stop! That... It... Hurts!" Yui screamed as she felt Reiji and Kanato's fangs piercing her delicate, porcelain skin, drinking her crimson blood.

"I won't allow Kanato to have your blood. I am in much more dire circumstances; A genius needs to have a quenched thirst before continuing an imperative experiment." Reiji protested.

"Are you saying that's more important than Teddy's well-being?!" Kanato argued, sinking his fangs into Yui's skin deeper. "Teddy and I are thirsty!"

"P-Please stop..!" Yui pleaded, but the two brothers ignored her and continued to drink. Unfortunately, you picked up her scent. The scent of her blood. You traced your now hyped up senses to Yui's room, hearing the suckling and smell of blood. You could taste it in your mouth already, its metallic contents. You were surprised to hear Reiji and Kanato in the room, when you've just left the living room with the others. Suddenly, the two brothers walked out the door, surprised to see their little sister up and about all alone.

Kanato knelt down to your eye level and smiled creepily. It wasn't unusual, so it didn't scare you. "(Y/n), why are you here? Shouldn't you be wi---" Kanato stopped himself. This was a chance to get you closer to him before you were to turn sixteen. He figured he should have a headstart, since he knew Ayato or hell, even Reiji would've tried to do something quickly. Kanato's smile grew a bit wide at this thought. "(Y/n), would you like to play with me and Teddy? I promise to give you your favorite sweet if you do!"

A very tempting offer, in the eyes of you, an eight-year-old. Who also is a vampire, too. You quickly agreed, thinking that you'd get to taste that sweet blood again, but you were sadly mistaken as Kanato yanked you away from the door and lead you to his room. The senses of your vampiric needs kept filling up.

Reiji noticed your awry behavior.

He noticed how you kept turning your head back to look at Yui's bedroom door. He knew what you wanted. He smirked to himself when a stroke of genius ignited his brain. This would be the perfect experiment to see how long you can hold in your desires until you became ravenous for them to be fulfilled. He knew that Ayato would be the first to give in to allow you to have a drink.

"Incompetent ass..." Reiji muttered to himself and left the premises.
