One day, you opened your eyes to the sun shining brightly. All of your life, you were nothing like your brothers, who were most active during the night and even went to school in those darkening hours. You went with them for a while, attended classes and such. Unfortunately, you never really made any close friends, due to well... Your brothers being quite overprotective of their dear younger sister.

You sat up and stretched, blinking to adjust your eyes to the bright, glowing horizon you've seen day after day. Were it not for that girl, that human girl, you likely wouldn't have ever been the morning vampiress you were now.

It is to say, she is rather late this morning. Usually she'd be up by now, and you'd both be helping the other get ready for the day. Though now you were no longer a child and could easily get ready yourself, it was still nice to feel loved and pampered by someone you considered an elder sister and friend.

If your mother was still alive, she'd love to have seen your innocent glow, and how much you've grown; ah, how the years fluttered and flashed by, like a hummingbird zipping through spring. In truth though, she'd loved to have seen you grow throughout all your life. Such a shame she was taken from you, and you never knew why. No matter, you thought to yourself, shaking your head as to shake away your doubts and such. Today was your day today. Your sister will be here, your brothers will be as well. You will see everyone today, but in just a bit more special way.

Because it's your sixteenth birthday.

The mansion was unusually quiet, though. You shimmied out of your bed, skipping out of your room in just your nightgown, only to meet empty and silent hallways. At least they weren't dark, as candlebras were among the walls in their high and bright praises to your glowing face. You've grown to be so effortlessly and elegantly beautiful; any man, or even woman, would either be envious of you or would just downright want to have you to themselves.

You didn't know of the glorious features you held. In fact, you denied it any time your brothers or Yui complimented you once in a while. You didn't think of yourself as some radiantly beautiful woman. Sure, you had confidence in yourself, but you felt yourself to be one among the rest, blended in with the crowd. Of course, your brothers never let you even think that in their presence. Yui never wished to debate with you, for she respected your wishes but kept her own thoughts to herself, no matter how much she wanted to dote on you as well.

You continued your way through the luxuriously large home, the powerful song of silence grating against your ears. It was torture, and even terrifying. Usually, if Yui wasn't around immediately, you'd be awoken by: Ayato shouting nonsense and jumping into your room to hold you close to him, Subaru making obnoxiously loud sounds (probably from him abusing the wall, again...) and arguing with Ayato over you, Laito licking and kissing your cheeks, Kanato shoving Teddy in your face because Teddy wants to give you a "morning kiss," or Shu hugging you so tightly in his sleep as he likes to crawl into your bed sometimes. Ah, and let's not forget when Reiji decides to take a steel whip and thrashes your ass with it until you wake up crying, all because you wanted to sleep for five seconds past your alarm.

Since when were your brothers so fucking annoying and clingy? You had yet to figure out.

Treading down the stairs, you figured you could comfort yourself by starting off the morning with some breakfast. Maybe it's just your imagination that every other living being in the home is gone, who knows. Comfort eating is always best. But as you walked through the threshold of the dining room to get through it to that sweet, sweet kitchen, you were greeted by a surprising sight.

"Oi, oi! Happy birthday, little rabbit!" Ayato was the first to shout, as always. He was dressed in his casual every day clothes, and so were the rest. Your face contorted into one of shock, trauma, anger, and then finally just a submissive smile, not wanting to protest or fight. With all the suspense earlier, you'd nearly forgotten about your birthday.

Laito came up behind you, whispering into your ear hotly, "Happy birthday, little sister~. I hope you enjoy our gifts to you, especially mine," He put his hands on your shoulders in a borderline sensual manner, pushing you slowly to the table for you to sit with the rest of the group. Laito was always perverted, but never gotten too touchy with you if at all until you were a little older. Maybe... last year he started to get a little bold? From there, it just escalated slowly. Due to your brothers' insistence on keeping you sheltered from most things, you were largely innocent still, and had no idea what they were planning. It did frustrate you, as you felt you were missing something important in your life that you needed to know.

Innocence was something to be treasured, but there is a time when even the purest of things must be tainted.

No, you weren't going to worry about that now. If you did, it'd be evident on your face and with your emotions, and your brothers can easily sense your mood. Ah, well, you can suck it up for now. No one really smiled except for Ayato, Kanato, and Laito, for they made it a point to sit extremely close to you for when you'd blow out the candles on your cake (that Yui volunteered to prepare, even with all six men glaring over her shoulder as she did). Ayato insisted for you to sit on his lap, and reluctantly you obliged.

Of course, you didn't notice the sighs and huffs from the rest. Even so, Shu curled up near Laito, a small smile on his face as he looked at you. Subaru sat next to the eldest brother, a scowl evident, but a blush far more pronounced as he couldn't admit to himself that he helped Yui with the frosting. Speaking of frosting, Kanato ordered there to be plenty. Reiji sat across from you on the other side of the table, not wishing to be squished in with the others. Lastly, Yui stood behind you and Ayato, smiling despite all the trouble she's been through.

If anything, you made it easier to bear with the torture.

One by one, each one wished you a sweet happy birthday, allowing you to blow out your candles afterwards. Yui spoke softly to you, asking a sweet yet delicate question, "Did you wish for anything, [Y/n]?"

Ayato heard of course, with his boisterous and boastful nature, "Don't answer that!" He quickly shouted at you, though not to be aggressive. He then glared at Yui, "You'll ruin her wish if you ask her about it."

"Who told you that? That's such a childish superstition. Though, I am quite curious. [Y/n], I ask of you at once to tell us what you wished for," Reiji stated firmly.

"[Y/n], you don't have to say anything. Even if Teddy and I are curious, you don't need to say your wish," Kanato assured you, hugging his stuffed companion tightly.

"Ha~ I'm very curious! Do tell, little sister, do tell!" Laito beamed, petting your head as Ayato tried to fight him off.

Shu muttered a "I'm curious, too," before placing his head down on your side, as Laito moved.

Subaru scoffed, "Don't force it out, [Y/n]," he glared at his other brothers at they continously peer pressured you.

You giggled at their antics, not able to help it, and gathered your breath to announce your wish. If they were so eager, then you didn't mind. A wish was a wish; it wouldn't lose its value if said aloud, for as long as the person wishing is true to their heart and intent with it, then surely it wouldn't hurt, hm?

With a smile, your head turned to meet the expecting gazes of your brothers and Yui, and spoke, "My wish... is that we can all live happily. I know, it's simple. It isn't that big, but," You clasped a hand over your heart, joyful tears filling your eyes. "I... I really want more moments like this. All of you have made me happy, ever since you took me in. My amazing brothers. My amazing, beautifully handsome, wholehearted brothers. And Yui,"

The blonde-haired girl looked at you, eyes widening slightly as you continued.

"I've never had a sister before. You have your little flaws, and can be a little dense at times, but I still love you! I'm glad that you came here to live with us, really!" You breathily sighed, and was shortly met with choking hugs and kisses after. Your brothers' hearts melted, along with Yui's at your words. Yet, oh, how ignorance was bliss, for you had yet to know what your beloved elder brothers were planning as they all tried to possessively hold you for themselves.

Oh dear.
