Chapter 10

Harry POV

Bailey. She's so amazing!

Liam POV

The only thing I can think about is Bailey. I just can't get her out of my head.

Zayn POV

Seeing Cole, the one I love, with Louis just plain out hurts. But Mag notices this and tries to cheer me up all the time. It's great to have a friend like her.

Niall POV

Mag. Mag. Mag. Mag. Mag. She is just so captivating, and caring, and just so everything. But I don't want to share her with Zayn.

Louis POV

Cole, Aria, Cole, Aria. I can't stop replaying the kiss I shared with Cole in my head. We've been hanging out a lot, but me and Aria have drifted apart, it's mostly my fault though. Every time Ari comes over to talk to me I get a little distracted by Cole.

Harry POV

Today all of us have decided on going to a beach. No, not the beach with a million gazillion people on it, a secluded beach that only we are aloud to go on. I've never swam with a mermaid before so I'm really excited to see what it's like.

Only seconds after we arrived at the beach the girls were already racing to the beach's shores. I ran along with my bandmates to catch up to them, but they had already turned into mermaids by the time we had reached the shallow end of the water. Their tails appeared, and I stared at each of their tails in awe, but lingered on Bay's a little longer than the others.

Her blue-green tailed flicked water in my face and before I could react I was drenched in freezing cold water.

"Stop staring." Bay whined with a smirk as she looked at a soaked and shivering me. I pressed my lips together and sighed as I flipped the wet curls that were plastered to my forehead out of the way.

I swam over to Bay, because I could no longer stand in the water, and asked her a question "Does it hurt when you..uh change into a uh mermaid?"

She shook her head quickly. "No, no! It doesn't hurt at all. When we first became mermaids we felt a little shock, but after changing a few more times it feels natural." Bay responded. "Come on, let's go! I want to show my bestie the best spots for swimming in Hawaii!" She said eagerly grabbing my hands, oblivious to the fact of the hurt I felt when she friend zoned me.

"Ha-Ha Friend zoned!" Mag said as if she was reading my mind. Oh wait she can read my mind. I shouldn't be thinking all these things if she knows everything that I'm feeling. Suddenly I'm not that comfortable about being around her and am happy when Bay leads me away from them. She gives me a kiss and breathes into my mouth. I stare at her in shock.

"Don't worry, I only did it so you can breath under water. We're still friends here." Bay said and swam ahead still holding my hand, before I could respond.

She stops abruptly and I stare at her in confusion until I see what is in front of us. I'm frozen in place as I see the giant shark that is at least twice the size of Bay if not me. It obviously sees us as it picks up it's pace and swims towards us.

I'm freaking out right now and need to get away front he shark but Bay's hand stops me from leaving and we are left to only wait for the shark, who is at least ten feet away from us, to finally reach its destination. Us.

Liam POV

I'm not the happiest person right now because of the fact that Harry got to go alone with Bay. And I can't stop whatever it is that will or will not happen between each other. I guess you can say I'm really jealous right now, and you would be totally correct. But then I think of how she friend zoned Harry, and instantly feel a little better knowing that I still have a chance with her.

Because there are nine of us I have to go with Mag and Niall. The two lovebirds. They obviously like each other so I don't see the reason for them not to be together. Mag grabs my hand after Niall's after she gives us a kiss to breath under water, which Niall was not to happy about. But I did not feel the familiar sparks I felt when I held Bay's hand.

Mag led us towards a coral reef and we looked at all the different creatures in the water. Mag told us to be very careful not to touch the coral because it would die, so I took caution on wear I flapped my human legs.

Something shiny caught my attention and I dropped my hand from Magdala's to go check it out. Magdala did pay any attention to my absence since she was to caught up in her conversation with Niall.

I picked up the shiny object that turned out to be a necklace. The necklace was silver with a blue crystal at the end of the chain that was outlined with a silver frame. I flipped it over and looked at the initial on the side of the necklace. "CAMB" it said in capital letters. I stared at it confusion before making the decision on keeping it with me.

"Liam!" I heard various calls from Niall and Magdala shouting out my name.

I looked up from the necklace and responded. "Over here!" And soon we were all swimming together again hand in hand.
