In other words, annoying things on Wattpad that happen far too often, but not so serious I need to dedicate an entire chapter to them.
~ the amount of people who write "rouge" when they really mean "rogue".
~ the amount of books tagged #epicfantasy sitting on the top 100s of the tag, that aren't, in fact, epic fantasy.
~ the amount of people who think their work is being "plagiarized" when it's found on websites such as doc-truyen.net
Although shitty, these websites crawl and automatically update basically every. single. story available on wattpad. You're not being plagiarized, you're being robbed.
And also, although it's a good tactic to frighten off and keep readers away from those sites by telling them this, most of them actually don't spread viruses and hack into your computer. That's not how digital technology works.~ the amount of people who think just because another person has a couple things similar to their work, means that the other person is plagiarizing them.
Psst. That's not what plagiarism is. You should check what plagiarism actually means. Also, your idea isn't ever original.
~ the amount of people who think adding a copyright notice on their story actually does any good (or even adds any legal power). I guess you also copy+paste those "legal statements" onto your facebook status to "protect your privacy".
There are more, but enough for now.
