Chapter - 2

Ok so i know this is out of order for updating, i should be updating 2500 A.D. but i had to get this up instead!! Hope you like! Tell your friends! =)

Lucy:

I was absolutely astonished when my name was read off of the list for S-Class recruiting candidates. But I am so excited that I can hardly contain myself! “I cant believe I got picked too!” Wendy and I shout at the same time. We looked at each other and giggled. Levy gives us a short pep talk but I don’t really hear what she said. I couldn’t help but notice that Wendy and Romeo were noticing each other. ‘Hmm… room for torment there.’ I think deviously to myself.

Now, obviously I am no match for a wizard like Mira-Jane or Erza, but to be seen like them, with the same status would be a huge honor! After Master Makarov explained the rules Mira-Jane handed out the request forms. Everyone was fired up, especially Natsu who felt the need for everyone within a 2 km radius to know as well. The title on my request reads, ‘Break What Has Been Sealed.’ 

“What the heck is this supposed to mean?” I wonder out loud. But no one even hears me, they are all too occupied by their own requests. I notice out of the corner of my eye that Gray seems to be shaken up. His eyes don’t look quite right and his hands are trembling. He grasp them together firmly trying to hide it, but I have known him long enough to tell when something I really wrong. He isn’t excited like the rest he is scared. 

“Lu, are you eye-balling Gray?” Levy taunts.

“Huh?! What N-no!” I exclaim slightly startled by her comment. “I mean yes, but not like that. Look he is shaking, something is really wrong.” I say with concern, Levy glances over and get the same concerned expression on her face.

The Master begins explaining about a few rule changes, and says that S-Class and senior members of the Guild will be watching over the examinees. Loki was listed among them and Natsu made a smart butt comment so I set him straight. “The Exam starts NOW!” Makarov shouts suddenly. We are caught off guard but take off in that second. Everyone in the Guild hall clears out in a snap. 

Levy and I run side by side down the street, “So what is your assignment?” I ask casually.

“I am not totally sure, but I have a bad feeling that it involves a lot of combat. You know I am much better at deciphering and the intellectual type things than fighting.” She complains. “What about yours?”

“I haven’t got a clue as to what its about.” I sigh. “The only thing the title says is, ‘Break What Has Been Sealed.’ The rest of the paper is in gibberish.”

“Well you know I would be more than happy to take a look at it for you, I am sure I would have to problem deciphering it. But Master said no help from other members of the Guild and that includes other contestants. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to get disqualified before I even get the chance to try.” Levy says with a giggle.

“Yeah your right, I bet he gave us each a request that would put our weaknesses to the test. Yours happens to be combat and mine happens to be knowledge.” I add.

“So then what do you think Gray’s weakness is that would make him get scared that badly?” Levy asks with genuine concern.

“I don’t know.” I think for while then it comes to me, I have seen him in a similar state before but only once. “His assignment couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the demon Deliora, could it?” I think out loud.

“Huh? Deliora?” 

“What? Oh, sorry I was talking to myself. It is nothing to worry about.” I say passively. “Well we should probably split up, Good luck Levy!” I shout as I cut down a side street.
