Lucy:

As soon as it registers in my mind that I had fallen unconscious I wake myself back up. I fight my own body trying desperately to open my eyes. I know I am in danger, I know something really bad has just happened.

When I am finally able to pry my eyes open, the same blinding light as before burns through. This strange light isn’t just bright, it is luminescent, warm, and heavenly… ‘That doesn’t make any sense.’ I think to myself. ‘How can this light be making me feel all these weird sensations, and where is it coming from in the first place?’ The door I opened, opened into a small 4 by 4 room, completely sealed. So how is it emanating light?

I slowly try to pull myself to my feet, a small whimper escapes my lips as my body protests. I have used so much magic energy that I am completely fatigued.

Suddenly, that brilliant light started fading until it was almost completely gone. I am able to open my eyes fully and see what is going on. And what I see is Edo-Le’on clutching something in his fist as he laughs wickedly.

“Finally.” He whispers “Finally I have it! The treasure of all treasures! This single trinket hold unimaginable power!” He boasts loudly.

“What is wrong with you Le’on? What is that thing?” I ask very forwardly but with a weak voice.

“Stupid girl, have you not figured that out yet?” he inquires sarcastically. My jaw goes slack as he takes a step back and magic energy surrounds him. It is so strong that it churns up the loose dust and debris into a suffocating cloud. I cough and gasp for air until finally the dust settles.

I gasp in horror at what I see before me, “Allow me to introduce myself my dear.” A slightly high pitched gravelly man’s voice rings through my ears. I cringe, his voice echos in my ears like the sounds of finger nails on a chalk board. “My name is Hachiro Jarusami, I am the master of the ‘Crimson Clo’reation’ell’ guild. We are a dark guild outside the Balam Alliance.”

Sick, I feel so sick. This cant be happening!

“If you want the simpler name for my Guild, it is loosely translated as ‘The Blood of Catastrophe’” His voice hisses like a serpent, like a demon or the devil. I can feel the overwhelming amount of dark magic surrounding me.

“It hurts… I cant breath.” I stammer. Clutching throat, he lifts me from the ground and slams my back against the wall of the cave.

“You fell for my trick, dear child. The same as everyone always does. You see I used my Furtum Memoria Magic. All I did was pull from your memory things, people, places, phrases, anything I need to make you believe anything I want you to. In your memory I found many things – The alternate dimension Edolas, the name Le’on Vastia, your old nick name ‘Lucky Lucy Heartfilia’… Just a few little truths make a large pill of lies easier to swallow…” He starts laughing maniacally again, cackling and hissing like the monster he is.

‘I have to get out of here, I am no match for the Master of a Dark Guild. I don’t have enough Magic energy… if I cant get out, I might…’ even the thought of that brings tears to my eyes. “NO!” I scream, a renewed magic energy suddenly surging through me. “I am not going to let you win, and I am not going to let you get away with whatever I helped you find. You may be in my mind but you will never find my heart, and that is where my strength truly comes from! That is how you can tell, a Wizard from Fairy Tail always fights with their HEART!” In a flash I pull out my Fleuve D’etoiles and throw it with all my might at Hachiro’s face. He ducks without a second to spare. Coming back up with shock displayed in his expression. He is taken off guard by my renewed determination and power.
