Hey everyone! Just a reminder that the voting period for the Fairy tail Watty awards competitiion i am entered in has begun. It would mean a lot if my reader would support me in the competeition! (I am not going to force you to vote for me) ^__^
Kana:
Everyone is shouting and brimming with excitement, its enough to get you lost in the moment. I take another swig of the beer in my hand and an anticipating smile stretches across my face.
“Now Kana, may I have a word with you?” Master Makorov pulls me to the side.
“Of course Master.” I say quietly. “Whats wrong?”
He gets a very serious look on his face and looks down at my hand, “That will have to stay here.” Is all he says. I cringe in dismay and slowly turn to the hand he is referring to. Its my drink.
“But the exam has never been this long before! I cant go a week without my booze!” I plead. But it is clear that his decision is final. I look down in defeat and relinquish the bottle.
Then the Master turns his attention back to the other candidates, I could swear out of the corner of my eye I saw him smile like the smug stupid old man he is! ‘I swea you are going to send me to an early grave, master.’ I think.
He finishes his explanation. And he finally cries out, “The exam starts NOW!” and we all take off running.
“This sucks! I hope my Request doesn’t take the entire week, if it does I am going to go stark raving mad!” I grumble to myself.
Just then I hear in the distance, “By Lu-chan!” it was Levy calling back to Lucy.
“Hey girl.” I greet her as she gets nearer to me. “Where are you headed?”
“Hey Kana, im going to a place called The Kiken’na Forest. Im going to be doing some security work. An ancient tribe of Sagi river people will be transporting a pricless relic and it my…”
“Okay, I get it. Its some important rock and they are moving it.” I say with a giggle.” My request is taking me in the same direction, wanna ride the train together?” I offer.
She smiles sweetly at me, “Sure, sounds fun.” She replies. And with that we head for the staiton to purchase our tickets. When we are filing onto the train car Levy suddenly stops and strains to look through the crowd. She stretches as high as she can or the very tip of her toes.
“Girl, what are you looking for?” I ask in slight amusment.
“Nothing, i…” She blushes.
“What or who were you trying so hard to see?” I prod her.
“Its not like that, I just thought I saw… G-gajeel.” She finally admits.
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud, “Levy, you need to just fess up to him! It is so obvious that he is head over heels for you and you have totally fallen for him.” I say loud enough to completely mortify her.
“Kana!? Shut your mouth!” She hisses at me in a strained whisper. “You are still trashed aren’t you?”
“I polished off a six pack before we left.” I say smugly.
“Well it shows.” She retorts. She huffs her way onto the car.
Seeing her expression I decide that what I said wasn’t as funny as I thought. “Look im sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry.” I tell her sincerely.
She exhales sharply, “No its alright, it really isn’t you its just…” she leave her sentence hanging there. Tears shine in her eyes.
“Hey Levy… If something is wrong you can tell me, you know that right?” I try to assure her. “You know we ave been guild mates for almost our whole lives.”
