Chapter - 5

Natsu:

“All candidates will be followed by S-Class or senior members of the Guild. We will not tell you who is following whom, but they are only there for safety purposes.”

“The ones who will be supervising are: Laxus, Bixlow, Freed, Evergreen, Mira-Jane, Gildarts, Loki, Master Makarov, Makao, and Myself” Erza adds.

“What?! Loki is a senior member?!” I shout mockingly.

“Of course he is counted as a member you bone-head!” Lucy yells at me, her face turning red hot with anger. ‘She looks kinda cute when her cheeks get all pink.’ I think to myself briefly. Then she continues chewing me out, “He may be a celestial spirit but he is still a Wizard from Fairy Tail first and foremost.” She says as a matter of fact.

After that little side note Gramps finishes giving us instruction and then gives us the final signal to take off. 

“IM FIRED UP NOW!! LATER HAPPY!!” I call to my life-long best friend, as the Exceed slowly disappears into the distance. I was so excited about getting straight to the mission I hadn’t even looked to see what it is I am supposed to be doing. I abruptly come to a halt in the street and take a look at my request paper.

The Lady of Arendelle (AN: I had too =))

This request is sent formally to every S-Class request board of every respectable Guild in our fine land of Fiore. This is hand written by the Herald of Lady Dajah of Arendelle. We ask the assistance of a powerful, skillful Wizard to accompany the Lady on her perilous journey across the Plains of Habidar. May the Guild Master keep in mind that this is a secretive and covert operation as the Lady has many enemies all over the world. This journey will be taking place September 12, X792. Please be in touch with us at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

“The 12th? That’s 3 days from now! I will have plenty of time to get there!” I tell myself optimistically. Then I actually find out where Arendelle is and find out that it will take almost three days to get there because it is a little island Kingdom off the shore of Fiore. My face drops in the realization that I may not be able to complete this request within the week time frame.

“Oh man! Gramps really gipped me on this one!” I complain loudly, frustration clearly displayed in my expression.

I decide that I had better go ahead and make my way there before it gets any later than it already is. I take off running again full of determination and adrenaline is pumping through my veins.

Suddenly, a realization I experience hits me like a brick wall! I freeze mid-stride, then drop to the ground and begin whimpering. “In order to get to this Arendelle place I’m going to have to take a train and a boat! Then I am going to spend the entire time on the mission in some other mode of transportation!”  I sob harder and harder.

“Natsu? What on Earthland are you doing?” I hear a familiar voice inquire. I look up to see Lisanna standing over me.

I quickly wipe my eyes and put on a brave face, “Hey Lisanna, how long have you been standing there?” I ask nervously.

She giggles softly, “I just walked up. Now why are you crying?”

“I want to make one thing crystal clear… I-WAS-NOT-CRYING” I speak slowly for emphasis.
