The last chapter ended when Shivaanjali was complaining like a child.

Shanjh was patiently listening to her.
He embraced her tightly as if he wanted to take away all her pain.

He knew she had been suffering a lot, mentally as well as physically.

She, too, reciprocated that hug. She closed her eyes and let herself loose in his arms.

Dr. Shalini knows what a mental breakdown feels like.
She observes all of this with teary eyes.

However, the sight was unbearable for Rajveer.

His best friend, his little talkative girl, was crying in pain, but he couldn't console her. He was helpless.

He was cursing himself.
He believed that somewhat he was also the reason behind her mental state.
He was the reason why she left all of them, and lived alone all these years.

He trusted Ahaana and not her; the consequences are quite visible.

He knew he was the reason behind her isolation, her trust issues, and even her injuries; after all, Lala Ghelot was his mentor.

He wanted to talk to her, thank her, tell her who he was and how much he valued her, but he couldn't.
He was helpless.

Dr. Shalini noticed Raj.
She kept her hand on his shoulder. This gesture made him come out of his guilt trip for a while.

Shanjh broke the hug, he wiped her tears. He stood up and handed her a glass of water.

She took the glass and drank water from it.

Itna bda bhari bharkam naam mujhse to nahi liya jayega so mai to aapko anjali kehkar hi bulaungi.

This statement brings a smile to her face.
So, Anjali ye kuch medicines hai inhe le lijiyega and take some rest.
You will be fine soon but take care ye burn marks ko jane mai kuch waqt lagega.

She nodded.
Raj was still standing blank.

Shivaanjali noticed his silence.
There was some hidden pain in his eyes. His eyes used to depict a lot of emotions, just like Rajveer's eyes.

I think I should leave.

He observed her wounds for a while and then left without uttering a word.

Shanjh and Shalini looked at each other as they knew why he left just like that.

He went to his room. He was energy with himself.
Somehow, he started believing that because of him, each one of them was suffering.
Whether it's Shivaanjali, Naina, his cadets or Abhimanyu.
Naina looks like a dead soul to him. He was the reason why he lost his brother and his parents lost their Son.

He was so frustrated that he started throwing things at the floor.
He threw cushions, files, and whatnot.
He grabbed the glass so tightly that he injured his own hand.

His hand was bleeding.
Naina was passing by his room when she heard the sound and went inside.

As she entered, she observed everything was messed up.
When she saw his hand was bleeding.
She shouted.
