( First Person Point of View: Thelma)

"What the heck!" I covered my mouth with my hands.
I thought he is already dead! What the? This is a miracle! I can't believe this!

With wide opened ferocious eyes, Byron wrenched all the wires in his body and stood up austerely.

I moved backwards, when his eyes gaped at me. Byron plodded standoffishly towards me.

Something is wrong. He is so stiff, I can't understand why is he acting like this.

He stepped closer while I moved away from him. He looked at me like he is on drugs.

The space between us reduced that it made me feel timid.
When our faces are already inches apart, I sidestepped.

Byron groaned and placed his hands on his head. " Aaaahh! Can't control this bitch in my head anymore!"
I stared at his face. He was down on the ground suffering like his brain is being manipulated by someone and is controlling him.

" Thelma.... Run!!" Byron enunciated in anguish even if he is having a hard time to talk.

I glanced at his face again before I departed.

I ran as fast as I can. I felt my heart racing posthaste.
I have never run this fast in my life.

After 10 minutes, when I'm already near at the exit door of the hospital, I looked around.
Where is he? Did he overcome the one taking over his brain? Or maybe he's just here waiting for the right time to attack me?

I can't just stand here doing nothing. I have to act now.

I seized the doorknob, but unfortunately it's locked.
Dang it!
I tried to kicked it, but still nonsense.

I turned around and a hard jab banged my head.
